We only had contact via email for directions and instructions. The accommodation was quaint and roomy. The fireplace was well used! It was a great place to celebrate an early Christmas. The kitchen and eating area are separated by the living room making it somewhat inconvenient…

Response from Deanne:
I'm so pleased that you and your family enjoyed the fireplace. Knowing that you were celebrating an early Christmas we decorated the mantel for you as well as the front door. The house was built in 1836, long before open concept was fashionable. What makes it unique however is that the main classroom was converted into an expansive family living area. This is also a family vacation home so we do leave a drawer in the main bathroom sideboard for ourselves. All of the drawers in the bathroom vanity and the cabinets over the toilet are meant for use by guests including shampoo, body wash, conditioner, blow dryer and many other items they might need. I'm sorry to hear about the cleaning issues as that has not been a problem before. We've redone our cleaning checklist for our team. Thank you so much for your feedback.

Where to begin. Communication with our host was superb from the moment we booked. Directions were perfect and although we arrived after dark, it was not hard to see the home was exactly as advertised. What a beautiful stay and what a beautiful setting.
