Stayed at Ardmore during a friend's wedding at Kinitty Castle, which is just a mile down the road. Very quiet and secluded spot in the Irish countryside. Tasty breakfasts, and I very much appreciated that Christina made me vegan oatmeal with fresh fruit. Lots of places to hike and otherwise enjoy the outdoors nearby.

I would recommend this game lace to anyone who wants a quiet, romantic, stay in a lovely historic house in the beautiful midlands.

Christina's BNB is very lovely. Well appointed and clean. Try to make it there on a Wednesday as the trad session is amazing. This is a very quiet village and there is nowhere to eat other than Kinnity Castle, so you do need to drive about 20 minutes to get to any restaurants. Perfect for relaxation and quiet. Walking in the Slieve Blooms was gorgeous, and I also recommend booking a horse ride with Birr Equestrian.

Christina runs a beautiful bnb, tea and cake in arrival around an open fire were just what we needed after a days drive. The rooms were spotless ad the breakfast was incredibly lavish. It has multiple courses so pace yourself. As a host Christina goes above and beyond expectations. I've been travelling with air bnb for over 6 months, this is by far the best stay I've had. Don't stay anywhere else!

Response from Christina:
Thanks Siobhan. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. You were my first airbandb guests. Hope you had a good trip over west and the lamp is still in tact!! Chris

Outgoing, sociable, love to meet people. Have been running a bed and breakfast in my home for 20 years, and still enjoying it. I play traditional Irish music on the fiddle and often take guests with me to the local Wednesday night session. I am a regular walker and know the Slieve Bloom Mountains very well. Love to travel, been to Cuba, South American and many more places.
