Originally built in 1750, faithfully restored and decorated with exquisite taste, the house provides all modern facilities. Enjoy your vacation with a unique combination of mountain and sea, finding tranquility just 3’ walk from the central square of the picturesque village Milies. Relax in the courtyard, drink crystal clear spring-water from the old fountain surrounded by flowers and the soothing sounds of nature. Indulge in the spectacular panoramic view at your private balcony.

The space
At the upper floor, a big dining room, a comfortable kitchen and a small wc are on the same level. Τhe "hagiati" a typical traditional architectural feature of the area, most commonly known as "balcony", provides any time of the day endless view until the sea. At the lower floor there are two separate bedrooms, one with a big double bed and one with three single beds. Two also separate toilets are close by, one smaller with a shower and one big with a bathtub. From the lower floor you can get to the courtyard where you can drink pure water from the private fountain of the house and enjoy dinner at the big stone table.

The house itself has a long and distinguished history. Built in the mid 18th Century, it was the birthplace of two important personalities. The scholar of Enlightenment Daniel Philippidis (1750 – 1832) and the mayor of Milies Argyris Philippidis, who was responsible for extending the famous steam train line to the village of Milies (which still runs today). There is a bust of Argyris situated on the way to the station of Milies. The house was fully restored in the 1980's by the descedant, internationally know architect Konstantinos Stamatis, and the result is truly spectacular. The house is located in the heart of Milies offering high aesthetics together with a feeling of privacy .Milies, has an altitude of 400m offering to you and your beloved a unique combination of mountain and sea.
