Nestled on a quiet neighbourhood side street, Prairie Chalet is waiting for your visit. Located only blocks away from the World famous Alberta Prairie Steam Train attraction, downtown shopping and restaurants. Guests have access to a beautiful garden space, shady deck and fire pit with gazebo.

Toni and Melanie are happy to provide their guests with information about the community and surrounding area.

Toni’s first language is German. Melanie’s English. Our guest needs can be met proficiently in either language.

Lives in Stettler, Canada
Alberta is my home. When I wanted to learn our other national language it made sense to do it where that language was spoken, so I chose Ottawa for studies. Then the adventures really began when I married my Swiss husband, Toni. With 11 year old son in tow, we immigrated to Switzerland in 2003. Now family has called us home again and we are excited to meet other travelers from around the world.
