Though we didn't have a chance to meet, Sam's room was all already prepared! The instructions were quite clear and easy to follow, services were good and the room is incredibly well located. Sam would try to check with every couple of days to see if something else was needed and the apartment was always clean and orderly. I would definitely book there again,

If you are travelling on a budget, this place is for you! Located right next to the Aomonoyokocho station, it's easy to get to the central part of Tokyo, and there is a mall with a huge supermarket 7 mins away where you can get everything you need. I've got a spacious room and I'm happy that Sam had been helpful in solving problems in the house during my stay!

Perfect sized room that is very, very close to the train station. Takes less than 10 minutes from door to shinagawa station which will take you anywhere! A cool little area to explore on foot as well with lots of small, authentic Japanese restaurants dotted around. Convenience store, supermarket and pharmacy just down the road. Small bar fridge in the room perfect for beers! All the housemates I encountered were friendly, polite and quiet. All in all a clean, convenient place to stay :)

Sam provides great communication and service. And, he works hard to provide complete satisfaction. His place I stayed at served its purpose well as a base camp for my one week trip in Japan. Don't expect a luxury hotel experience. And, be sure to bring your own bath amenities (I recommend a nice towel and shower slippers). With that said, the place is great if all you need is somewhere to leave your heavy luggage, to shower and to sleep. There is a convenient coin operated laundry machine on site. But, the best feature is that this room is so close to the nearest train station (which is only 3 stops from Shinagawa station). And, there are decent restaurants on the same street that open very late. This was my first time visiting Japan and using Airbnb. And, the whole experience was great!

I really enjoyed my stay at Sam's place. The rooms are very private, quiet and huge by tokyo standards. Sam's instructions were easy to follow and his communication was friendly and timely. The property is literally around the corner from the nearest station and is in a safe, friendly neighbourhood. It's not in the centre of the action but for me it's a bargain and I would recommend it to anyone.

Fabulous place to stay at this price. The location is so convenient just 3 stops from Shinagawa, and so easy to get to the Asakusa subway line that connects with so many of the other subways. The room is clean and exactly as stated. Lots of windows and is surprisingly large for a Japanese room. Highly recommend if you are not fussy about sharing the kitchen and bathroom facilities with others. Really private as most other residents tend to keep to themselves. Only three buildings from the station exit and the station is surrounded by shops and restaurants. No problems finding somewhere cheap to eat!
