Nestled in a quiet, residential Burbank neighborhood our nineteen-room house we call, "The Haywards," stands as a witness to the strength of family and the wealth of history. Built in 1926 and recently renovated, The Haywards has nine bedrooms, two kitchens and two dining areas, serving in the past as a "family compound," and, over time, it has become a crossroads of the world.
You may meet travelers from across the globe, or students from nearby CSU East Bay or from any of the several colleges in the area. Local folks like to stay with us, too, for a little R&R from time-to-time. Cook up some omelettes, pour the complementary coffee and hang out in the breakfast nook, or in the second kitchen's dining area... you're bound to run into someone for some conversation or a quick board game by the fireplace.
And when the day is done, and the smart-lock on your bedroom door has auto-locked behind you, grab a robe from your closet, sink into your sparkling new, super comfortable bed with luxury linens, and fire up your smart TV for a nightcap on a great day. Stay up late! Your blackout shades have got you covered in the morning.
