Experience the simple life in one of Spring City's original pioneer homes. The Stone Cottage will take you back in time, and remind you what is truly important. Just a short one hour drive from Provo (or one hour, forty five min. from Salt Lake) yet you feel like you are worlds away.

Stone Cottage is one of three homes at Spring Farm - for large groups, rent them together, or find our website for more information.

The space
Built in 1860, it was one of the first stone homes in the community. The mason was paid “a young steer and 2 dollars a day” to lay the thick stone walls, and the cottage has retained its sense of history and permanence. Yet it has been recently restored, and enjoys all the modern conveniences that we expect today.

With the original wood plank floors and 2-foot thick stone walls, you will be charmed by the history in the cozy living room. It is like stepping back in time, and will make for a memorable stay in one of the loveliest towns in the country.

Enjoy our small, but hardworking kitchen, which is fully equipped for cooking delicious meals for your small group. You will find everything you need to make your stay comfortable, so you can focus on exploring the town, hiking & rock climbing Maple or Spring City Canyons, Golfing at Palisades Park, or taking part in the community events.

The cottage has one large bedroom, a bathroom and a washer & dryer for your convenience. It is the perfect size for a couple's get-away, or for a small family - and has all you need for your perfect escape. Relax, breath and take in this beautiful historic town, the art, and all the charm it has to offer.

NO CAMPERS, RV's or MOTORHOMES allowed for additional sleeping, as per a Spring City ordinance.

Where you’ll be

Spring City, Utah, United States

Slow down and enjoy Spring City’s unhurried pace. The town has no traffic lights - but it does have an award winning café, a celebrated pottery shop, a delightful soda fountain and many art galleries and studios. Having been discovered by artists years ago, Spring City has grown into a vibrant arts community that attracts visitors from far and wide. The main gallery is housed in the restored Strates Garage, a turn-of-the-century auto showroom that now displays the work of local artists. Whether you come for the historic architecture, the quiet rural pace, or the art events & festivals, Spring City is sure to capture your heart.

I love travel, good food, people from all cultures and even better... enjoying all these things with my husband and 5 kids. We have loved being a part of the Airbnb community and it has opened the world to us in a new way. We have traveled to New York, Alaska, Norway, Denmark, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and England. We adore Spring City and this beautiful pioneer home built in 1873! It has been a haven for us and we are excited to share it with you! My sisters own the beautiful Farmhouse at Spring Farm which is located on the property just next to mine. One sister and I also own the Stone Cottage built in 1860 on the same block. For large groups you can book all three places including their beautiful white barn for events. I look forward to meeting you and sharing with you a place I love!
