The 2 bedroom apartment is located on the 2nd floor and can accommodate 4 guests. The suite is in the Mechanic Block and dates back to 1874. The apartment was restored while keeping the historical integrity in check. With vintage sink, clawfoot tub and 7' interior walls (not reaching ceiling as shown on photos) There is private parking and separate entrance. You get the entire apartment. The main level of this historical commercial building is operated by the building owner.

The space
The apartment was restored while keeping the historical integrity in check. The apartment boasts 2 bedrooms - one with an 80's touch and the second with a 50's feel. The living room is spacious and overlooks the downtown core. Large flat screen TV, cable and sitting area to catch up on your favourite novel. The dining room is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen has been converted to a fun diner-style space with checker flooring and small breakfast area overlooking your deck with propane BBQ. The 1940's kitchen sink and clawfoot tub have been refinished and the original kitchen cabinets and dining room hutch are now finished with a fresh coat of paint.

Only 1 block from the Sandra Lawn Marina and the Amphitheatre, which hosts the yearly Shakespeare Festival (in August) and Sunday concert series. Downtown Prescott boasts various restaurants and pubs (O'Heaphy's, Red George, Chuck’s Roadhouse, Renegadz, Wing House, Bobby's Restaurant, Tim's Fish and Chips, Wok House, Dragon Garden, Nick’s Restaurant, food stands are all walking distance). Enjoy the new RiverWalk District and park, marina, recreational pool, public beach, walking trails, Fort Wellington, Prescott Golf Club all nestled along the St-Lawrence River. Specialty shops and services all mere minutes from your back steps. Prescott (Fort Town) is located off the 401 and between Cornwall and Kingston. 10 minutes to Brockville and 45 to Ottawa via 416.
