REVIEW FROM PREVIOUS GUESTS
We stayed in Aspes Villas with my family in June 2013.
Being Cyclades Greek islands lovers:
* we first of all enjoyed the UNIQUE LOCATION of Aspes Villas, on a hill overviewing Psili Ammos Beach and Chora
* we loved the proximity to the family-friendly Psili Ammos BEACH (3 min car drive) with lovely waters and a seaside taverna with tasteful Mediterranean food
* we appreciated the HOSPITALITY of our hosts, Katerina & Spyros, offering raki & mezedes and helpful in every aspect of our holidays
* we adored SERIFOS ISLAND as a whole, with its unique beaches, the old Mines by the sea and the beautiful picturesque "Chora"
* we loved the quality, design and cleanliness of our Villa, and our romantic evenings at the terrace, enjoying the view and our drinks
We will definitely be there again!

Aspes is charming and comfortable. We were unlucky with the Meltemi wind which blew very strongly from the north everyday after the first. There is nowhere sheltered to sit outside when the wind blows like this but otherwise it is very pleasant accommodation. The beach and taverna just below are wonderful and never bettered on a still day. Plenty of other more sheltered beaches if windy.

Response from Korina:
Dear Lucy thank you for staying with us. The Meltemi is a characteristic of the Cyclades and thanks to it the heat is bearable and mosquitos vanish ! Aspes Villas are of the really extemely few homes in the Cyclades where there are glass walls installed to have protection from the wind on windy days...

We stayed in the villa at Aspes Villas for 5 nights in June. The villa was very comfortable, simply furnished and very clean for 3 adults. The bedrooms were comfortable with ceiling fans. The villa has a lovely garden and a beautiful view from the Chora in the hills to Psili Ammos beach and out to sea. The villa is away from the two main towns on the island, and you do really need a car to go out for meals and explore the island (book early as there are limited cars for hire on the island). During our time we did have a little bad weather and then a few days of the northerly winds which blow straight onto the villa, so the outdoor area couldn't be used. But when the winds died down, we were able to sit and enjoy the view outside. Serifos is a beautiful island, with different areas to explore. There are beautiful beaches, but the best (in my option) is Psili Ammos with it's 2 tavernas, so you can enjoy the beach and lunch/snacks very close to the villa. The Chora is beautiful to wander through, and port has many tavernas for all your meals. We drove to other parts, like the old mining areas and to other beaches. Being June, the island wasn't crowded at all. We really enjoyed our stay and Serifos, and would like to return one day!

Nothing less than a paradise. We were here in April, before the tourist season, so we basically had the island to ourselves. Besides that, the villas are pretty quiet themselves, situated in a secluded bay next to a beautiful beach. Livadi and Hora are not next door, but there are good and very enjoyable walking paths to the two towns. The villa has everything you need, a fantastic terrace (with a foldable wind screen), rain shower, and a big comfy bed. Highly recommended!

We are a family of 4 and arrived on Serifos with blazing winds and because of that with delay. Korina nonetheless had us picked up from the port and awaited us in our appartment with some snacks. Great reception! The appartment is simply furnished and definitely not too big for the 4 us. Two bedrooms, living annex kitchen and a small bathroom. Outside patio was great with a beautiful view overlooking the most beautiful beach on Serifos, but when there are strong winds you can not really sit outside. That was too bad. The island is small but houses beautiful beaches and some must see spots like the monastry (amazing) and the capital Chora (beautiful). The port is tiny, but has some nice restaurants. The country-side is rough, no plants or threes and sometimes gives the impression you have landed on the moon. Great thing is that the island is not overcrowded with tourists.....we appreciated that a lot. The stay at the appartment was nice, with amazing views. But, as said, if the winds start blowing, you now and then find yourself "locked up" in the appartment so if you come with kids bring some entertainment with you because there is nothing present in the appartment (tv, books, games). Another important thing is that right after booking, rent a car. They run out of them quickly on the island and you really can not do without it; especially with kids. You could walk to the beach, but you need to be a bit of a hiker to do that every day. Korina helped us out with getting a car in the end and we are still thankful for that. Tip we would have is that the kitchen could use a few more appliances like a toaster and electric water kettle.
