Two Winds Cabin is surrounded by rural views. A unique bespoke Eco cabin built using locally sourced reclaimed materials & architecturally inspired.
A modern version of a rustic tin shed.
We built this cabin to give our guests a place to stay that is a unique rural retreat, still close to beautiful beaches. With an open plan design the cabin is one bedroom, concrete floors, gable ceilings and NEW outdoor bath. Recently mentioned in URBAN LIST SYDNEYS top stays for Summer!

The space
Wander down the stone path to the cabin, slide across the reclaimed large sliding barn door and enter Two Winds Cabin.

The front and rear doors can both be left open to give you a seamless indoor ~ outdoor living feel and allows beautiful fresh air to flow through the cabin and open the view out past the sugar cane fields into the rolling country side.

Our cabin has been lovingly constructed and designed by us, located on our small acreage, surrounded by fields of sugar cane yet still located only 7 minutes drive to Wooyung Beach. Two Winds was handcrafted using original corrugated iron sourced locally. The polished concrete floors were designed with sustainability in mind to keep the cabin cool in the summer months and warm in Winter. If there is a particular wind direction you can choose which door to be left open to allow the air to flow into the cabin, this was purposefully built this way as some days due to us being located on the hills of the tweed coastline surrounded with a view there is sometime a little extra breeze here. We have nestled the cabin in the rock wall also to assist with the breeze.

Black and timber veneer modern kitchen with soft close drawers and stone bench tops, fridge & freezer, gas cooktop, electric oven, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, stove top coffee maker, locally sourced coffee, utensils, pots, pans, crockery, platters, cooking items, oil, salt and pepper and a selection of locally sourced herbal teas.

The bedroom with comfortable Queen size bed with Linen bedding, a jute hanging pendant and Barn style wall lighting, there is hanging space with 2 supplied linen gowns to lounge around in and enjoy the rural outlook all from your bed.

Hand crafted timber veneer corner inbuilt lounge and hand made coffee table made using reused reclaimed timber materials. Spacious antique dining table and four chairs, Breakfast bar with stool ~ the perfect spot to take in the view and have your morning coffee or glass of wine in the afternoon. We provide a mini speaker for you to use to listen to your music whilst relaxing.

The cabin has rural views from every living space and we are located in amongst beautiful lush sugar cane fields.

Outside we have a white crochet hanging chair, new Weber Bbq, antique timber outdoor setting positioned under the covered outdoor patio fire pit and newly installed antique outdoor Claw Foot bath with rustic taps.
Perfectly position in an area where the sunrises are spectacular & also our very favourite place.

Two Winds Cabin is the perfect place to stop over whilst travelling or a perfect retreat for a couple. We love having guests to visit and enjoy the area as much as we do!

From 21 June - Mid December each year the sugar cane is harvested in the area, this can be unpredictable to which days and hours they work, the cane fires are amazing to watch! the trucks also use the area to transport cane to the factories- they have been using the road for many years - they do run at different times night and day so may be a little noisier than usual in the cabin from the noise of the trucks / machinery , if you are interested in staying over this time please let us know as we do offer a discounted rate over this period .

You are more than welcome to use Two Winds Cabin as a photo shoot location - its great to see everyones different perspective of their stay through their photos too. ( let us know if your interested in this option for product shoots as additional price may apply )

If your arriving a little later - make sure you bring along some dinner \ drink supplies just to make sure you don't miss the sunset.

Please let us know if you have ANY questions at all throughout your stay as we do like to have the opportunity to make your stay as comfortable as possible at Two Winds Cabin.

We are located in a rural setting so if your after some ”country style - living” and a little time out but still close enough to enjoy what the the beautiful beaches, Tweed coast and Byron Shires have to offer, we would love to have you stay at Two Winds Cabin.

Absolutely mesmerised by this place! Words cannot describe how wonderful the space and landscapes are. The hosts are so lovely and thought of everything right down to the final touches including chocolates, linen robes, beautiful bathroom products, oil diffuser and treats in the kitchen. The view from the bed and shower was breathtaking and the space was so stylishly decorated. We spent amazing afternoons with the doors wide open letting the breeze in watching the sunset. Can not wait to visit again in the future!!!

Two Winds Cabin is a beautiful little property overlooking farmland and cane fields in Crabbes Creek. We had a wonderful two night stay here. I loved waking up every morning and seeing the rolling farmland from bed. The views are stunning. By chance, we were there for a huge sugar cane burn off nearby and it lit up the night sky. It was pretty incredible. The property is very cute, compact and well decorated, it has everything you need. It is a 10 min drive to the beach and there is a general store with everything you could ever think of (including local produce) down the road. We had pizzas one night and sat around the fire outside. This place is a hidden gem!

This place is so gorgeous and peaceful. The house is cosy and warm and has stunning views across the paddocks towards the ocean. We spent a lot of time around the fire with a wine in hand. It really was a beautiful place to fully unwind and relax.

My partner and I stayed here for a weekend and it was the perfect getaway. It is a beautiful space overlooking the hinterland. We can not recommend it enough. Starry nights and sunrise views made for an amazing stay. Nerissa was also super welcoming and helpful from the moment we booked.
