The Blue Horizon Suite
Peachland Eagles Nest B&B, a place to fall in love, relax, think and plan.
The Blue Horizon Suite is 600 sq feet and will accommodate 1 to 4 guests.
You open the gate and step onto your private deck with an OMG view south of Lake Okanagan. The deck is fitted in amongst the Ponderosa pines and you will have many feathered visitors. The deck has glass railings so you can see the lake and mountains while you sip some fine local wine.
The space
The Blue Horizon Suite
The Blue Horizon Suite is 600 sq ft one bedroom one bath and will accommodate 1 to 4 guests. The suite is located on the lower floor of the main house and requires you to use a 10 step stairway. It is a total separate and self-contained suite.
You open the gate and step onto your private deck with an OMG view south of Lake Okanagan. The deck is fitted in amongst the Ponderosa pines and you will have many feathered visitors. The deck has glass railings so you can see the lake and mountains while you sip some fine local wine. We provide 10 lbs. of propane for the fire table. If the guests want additional propane we charge a $1 per lb. which is what we pay for it.
• Deck roof will keep you cool on warm summer days and a fire table to warm the deck during the cooler days of September and October when you are enjoying the many wine festival events
• Deck has a BBQ and a wicker lounge set
• Remember to watch for the local herd of Black Tail Deer and black bears moving up through our property from the lake to the park on the ridge above
When you step through your private French doors you will be greeted by a cozy beach cottage atmosphere.
• The window looks across the lake and the moon wash will be visible at night
• Stone fireplace, TV, Cable, Wi-Fi, couch and easy chairs invite you to gather and share stories and discuss tomorrow’s planed events
• Sofa-bed provides comfortable seating as well as a queen size bed
• Living room window looks across the lake and the moon wash will be visible at night
• Air conditioning for those hot Okanagan days
• Full kitchen has a gas range, microwave, fridge and dishwasher and the dining table seats 4
• Kitchen is fully equipped to make a small meal or a feast
• There is also an in-suite clothes washer and dryer
• The bathroom has heated stone floors, ample towel racks, a soaker tub and shower and a vanity that enables you can spread out all your necessities. There is plenty of storage as well.
The nightly rental fee is based on 2 people. The Blue Horizon Suite will accommodate up to 4 people and there is an additional fee of $30 per person per night for persons 3 to 4.
On the Premises and Meals:
Your meals will be self-catered. We supply a few breakfast items to start your stay: coffee pods, tea, milk, O.J., eggs, bread, and yogurt and portions of peanut butter, and jam. Once they are gone then you would buy what you want. We keep you stocked in condiments including ketchup, mustard, mayo, butter. We also provide cooking oil and spices.
The kitchen is fully equipped for a snack or a major feast or take advantage of the excellent restaurants in Peachland. There is a BBQ on your private deck
We supply towels, beach towels, bedlinen, soaps, shampoo and conditioner. There's a hair dryer that you can use as well as an iron and ironing board.
There are beach chairs and backpacks available so you can enjoy the great beaches in Peachland and Summerland.
Parking is free and RVs and boats can be parked with advanced notice.

When you arrive turn left at the sign shed and drive down to the house and park on the left of the drive in front of the lawn (there is a green door with a stone eagle on the porch). Proceed to the left end of the building and go down the 10 outside steps. There is a light switch at the top of the stairs if it is dark out. Walk past the chimney onto the deck and turn right. Proceed down the deck and through the gate onto your private deck. Enter the garden door into The Blue Horizon Suite.

Neighbourhood highlights
The property its self is very interesting with its many changes in land scape and views. There are many large Ponderosa Pines on the property. The home sits by itself and is very private. There is room for ample parking by the cedar split rail fence and there is space for short term RV and boat parking upon request. There are hiking trails just minutes away up on the next ridge. Watch for the local herd of Black Tail Deer and black bears moving up through our property from the lake to the park on the ridge above. There are many birds flitting about in the pines.
There are four suites available, the Treehouse Suite, The Blue Horizon Suite, Glamping Site and the Orchard House, each with their own private deck and entrance. The entire B&B can be rented together providing sleeping for 18 guests.

Murray and Valerie are an avid outdoors people and loves the quick access to the bush and lakes that the Okanagan provides. Adventures, social events and meeting new people make life fun.
