Come stay in my beautiful, bright, family friendly heritage home on a quiet street in the centre of Vancouver's trendy and desirable neighbourhood - known as Main St, Riley Park, and Little mountain.
Minutes walk to Main Street shopping, restaurants, weekend farmers market, and community pool/gym. We're also not far from downtown - just a few minutes drive.
Our happy house is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom, and is set back on the property providing lush foliage views from most windows.

The space
This cheerful rental is family friendly, as well as adult groups. The main floor of this light filled house has generously proportioned rooms with hardwood floors, large picture windows and overlooks a sweet old fashioned veranda and front yard, perfect for sipping cocktails during summer evenings or morning coffee.

This home owned by an artist and cultural heritage restorer with roots in Europe, and we have furnished the space with an eclectic mix of vintage and modern pieces, both bought and found, keeping it simple and fresh so the bones of the home and well selected pieces can be appreciated.

A Picture wall, down sofa, Belgium linen curtains and a serious work or dining table giving the space balanced and light with pockets of interest and detail - for home away from home, office, or for a dinners with friends.

The kitchen is stocked with all the things you might need for cooking after your weekend forage at the nearby farmers market, and has a large fridge, gas stovetop/oven, dishwasher, microwave and basic coffee maker.

You can eat in the casual kitchen at the rustic farm table, or prepare your bread or pasta dough on central the marble slab, and pull the table away from the wall in the living room and seat yourselves at the long dinning table for a more elegantly ambient dinner which comfortably seats 8.

The main floor bathroom has a sink walk in tiled shower area with a large rain shower head, toilet and laundry - washer and dryer. Our main level bedroom has bay windows and lots of light. The second floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed, dresser and ample space to hang your clothes. Bedroom 2 has a double bed, closet space and dresser. ( this room has children's some selected books and toys suitable for 7-10 year old).

The second floor bathroom boasts a deep clawfoot bath tub, for long soaks and a good book. It has a full length mirror, sink and vanity, toilet, and dresser drawers. There is no shower in the second floor bathroom. Our guests always come down stairs with a smile on their face exclaiming on the simple old school luxury of a room employed just for enjoying a bath!
