MEET AND GREET THE HERD:

We have four friendly horses. You are welcome to wander the 55-acre property but are asked to stay outside the fenced paddocks where the horses roam free unless Joan is with you. Much of the fencing for the paddocks have orange electric wire. If walking close to the fencing avoid touching the orange or white wire.

MEET AND GREET THE HERD: (45 minutes Free for Air BnB Guests)

Joan offers a guided introduction to the equine team specialists; Danny, Diego, Rhassa, and Sam, the eldest of the 4.

Bonding with the horses can be a powerful and nurturing experience. Horses are a powerful source of energy and emotions. As prey animals, they have a very strong ability to sense and assess things, places, people, etcetera in a very effective manner. Energy is a give and take experience and horses are the perfect example of the symbiotic manner in which this exchange can happen, leaving a person feeling connected, grounded, and thankful for the shared experience.

All activities with the horses are guided by Joan who is knowledgeable in equine practices as well as very familiar with her Herd.

Other things to note
Guests often come to relax, rejuvenate, breathe in the fresh country air, and connect with the horses, nature. For extended stays, you may wish to check out the guide book below.

Almost 30 years ago, I founded the first yoga studio in Kingston. Now with Soul Horse and Nature retreats, I am one of the pioneers of equine healing experiences in this area. To that end my peaceful property houses 4 healing horses which I want to share with anyone who cares to experience.
