The space
Private and comfortable this is the first cabin of the MareGold Centre - a future retreat centre with events, trails, gardens and healthy living. You will be able to walk the trails and access the private cove and waterfall. Watch the ferry come and go as you sit on your private deck that has the best sunsets in all of Nova Scotia. It has the feel of a tiny house as the total cabin is only 20x 18. No TV, no neighbours and quiet all to yourselves.

Other things to note
Please note that it is a 30 km beautiful drive to the nearest service (Granville Ferry - Annapolis Royal). Please read this as many guests are surprised that there are no services in Victoria Beach. Also, The MareGold is totally non-smoking and any smoking must be done on the road. Also, the woodstove is only available in the spring, fall and winter seasons. seasons. Thank you

Victoria Beach

The tiny fishing village of Victoria Beach is at the end of the oldest road in Canada (Granville Road). It was once a thriving community with 5 stores, two gas stations, a fish processing plant and more but in the late 1990s the plant closed and many people left. Now the community is made up of local lobster fishers and an eclectic group of residents who have settled here from around the world.
