Beautiful historic inn, centrally located in Kensington. Just 15 minutes from the beautiful beaches and golf courses of Cavendish. A great "home place" to stay while you explore all our beautiful island has to offer.

The space
This beautiful room is named after Daisy Orr, daughter of Parmanus and Stanford Orr who built the historic home in 1915. The room is situated on the 2nd floor and features a quaint private bathroom, soft fluffy towels and bathrobes, an iron and ironing board which are just a few of the amenities offered in this room. Stay entertained as you watch HD cable tv on the flat screen tv, or take advantage of the free high speed internet. Free parking in our large parking lot is an added bonus. For breakfast, choose from our delicious options on our menu which will be thoughtfully prepared for you in our kitchen. Indulge in the coffee, tea and hot chocolate offered for free in our downstairs coffee bar at all hours of the day and night. And don't forget our small confectionery where you can purchase chocolate bars, chips, gum and select candy. Ice is offered free of charge. Rate per night is $99 plus 15% HST peak season, $89 plus tax during the off-season.

Guest access
Access to all common areas, such as Stanford's Lounge, Parmenus's Parlour, the dining room, coffee bar, the outside deck, as well as the verandah where you can rock in comfort in our rocking chairs and enjoy the beauty of a warm summer evening.

Other things to note
We do have fur babies onsite. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats who share our home in the basement with us. Sometimes they are outside in the backyard in the dog run. They are usually very quiet and not allowed to be around our guests unless our guests specifically request to see them. They are never allowed upstairs in the main areas of the house.

Kensington, Prince Edward Island, Canada

Prince Edward Island is an incredibly beautiful place to live. The weather in the summer can't be beat and the beauty of the colourful trees in the fall are second to none. The people who call the island home are some of the friendliest people you will find anywhere. They are always quick to smile and say hello when you meet them on the street, and always willing to offer a helping hand. And the potatoes are to die for!!!

In September of 2018 we moved to the Island from Alberta to follow our dream of running a bed & breakfast. We fell in love with PEI when we first visited several years back, and look forward to sharing it's beauty with our guests. We're keen travelers and always enjoy staying at bed & breakfasts when we travel, as we love meeting new people from all over the world, and bed & breakfasts are so much more homey than sterile hotel rooms.
