Welcome to St Mary's Glade 10, our privately owned lodge on the beautiful Erigmore Estate by the River Tay in Dunkeld at the entrance to the Scottish Highlands.

It offers the highest quality self-catering accommodation along with access to superb facilities such as a bar, swimming pool and children's play areas.

This stunning holiday lodge offers fantastic accommodation for families or up to four adults in one double and one twin room, each with their own bath/shower room.

The space
Dunkeld marks the start of the Highlands and our Perthshire holiday lodge in the heart of Scotland offers everything you could wish for from a Scottish holiday or break.

Our family have lived in the historic villages of Dunkeld and Birnam for nearly 90 years and when we moved to the South West Of England we purchased St Mary's Glade 10 so that we could retain our links with area and our friends. It is very much our home from home and when we are not there we are very happy to give others the opportunity to enjoy this special place.
St Mary's Glade 10 is located on the beautiful Erigmore Estate by the River Tay. As this is a privately owned lodge your booking will be direct with us and not the estate but you have full access to the estate facilities, including use of the swimming pool and sauna as well as the excellently stocked bar.
The lodge is perfect for families or up to four adults. There is one double and one twin room, each with it's own bath/shower room.

The luxury kitchen is fitted with an integrated dishwasher, double oven and combination microwave making eating in a pleasure, while flat screen televisions in every room, along with blue ray, dvd and a surround sound system in the sitting room mean entertainment is just a flick of the remote away.

The decking area is ideal for al fresco dining or just relaxing, while the barbecue is ready and waiting for those warm summer evenings.

There is a small utility room with a sink as you enter the lodge. A coin operated washing machine and tumble dryer are available in Erigmore's laundry room.

The lodge has central heating as well as an electric wall heater in the lounge.

Where you’ll be

Birnam, United Kingdom

The twin villages of Dunkeld and Birnam have long been a favourite destination for travellers. Situated on the River Tay they boast stunning scenery at the entrance to the Highlands as well as being steeped in history. Walk along the bank of the river into Dunkeld and you will pass by the historic Birnam Oak, which survives from the original Birnam Wood immortalised in Shakespeare's Macbeth. Look across the river and you will see the original Mr Mcgregor's garden from Beatrix Potter's Tales of Peter Rabbit. In Birnam itself there is a a dedicated exhibition to her links with the area as well as a garden containing many of her most famous characters. The exhibition is housed in Birnam Arts a splendid venue for all sorts of events and concerts and where you can enjoy coffee cake and light lunches. A walk across the magnificent bridge built in the 17th century by Thomas Telford will take you in to Dunkeld with its beautiful cathedral, historic houses, and excellent range of shops and hotels. We particularly recommend Aran Bakery which is run by Great British Bake Off semi finalist Flora Shedden - great bakes, great treats, great coffee ! And just a short distance from the village you will find the Loch of The Lowes wildlife reserve, home to breeding Ospreys, and the stunning Hermitage waterfalls.
