Other things to note
Cleaning Fee ~ If you're booking 28-31 nights stay a $150.00 cleaning fee will be added to your quote/estimate.

Street behind the house ~ The street is 500 feet from the house with the river in between. The street does have cars on it regularly. We do not notice it. However, guests have. Although it is all perception, it is worth mentioning as some guests have mentioned it.

Water Crafts/Inflatables ~ There are canoes and SUP’s at the Chalet. However, they are not for guest use. Why? Liability, invasive species permits, correct PFD sizes etc... We do not have any inflatable tubes or rafts due to maintenance of these types of items. There is a Bi-Mart and a Ace Hardware down the street that sells inflatable water toys. Many of the nearby lakes rent both motorized and non-motorized water crafts.

BBQ ~ There is a propane BBQ on the deck and BBQ utensils.

Beach/Outdoor Towels ~ We do not provide beach/outdoor towels.

Spices~ There are a variety of spices for cooking.

Condiments ~ We do not provide condiments, sorry.

Addressing comments in previous reviews
Hot water ~ A new hot water heater was installed February 2020.

The bat aviary ~ Was removed in October 2019, and the awning/access areas professionally sealed.

Mt. Bachelor, Oregon’s premier ski area is within an hour drive. The Cascades Lakes highway is just down the street. Along the highway you will find hiking and multiple lakes with various water activities. The Deschutes National Forest
provides plenty of outdoor activities; including golf, fishing, kayaking, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, canoeing and rafting.

The River Lava Cave, Newbury Volcanic Park, Lava Butte are just a few other areas of interest. Looking to visit nearby cities? Head east on the 97 and you'll find Sunriver and Bend.

Our neighborhood is a nice little community. We do have neighbors on both sides of us, but we rarely see or hear them. Our street is paved and is plowed in the winter. It's a nice loop to walk in both summer and winter.
