Welcome to #TheGrandYurts Palace—the ultimate glamping experience! This listing combines both our Lotus and Mahal yurts to create the ultimate glamping experience for your friends and family.

What is glamping you ask? It is glamorous camping!

Our pair of super chic yurts are BRAND NEW and spacious enough for 12 people. The interior was meticulously curated to provide you with a luxurious camping experience.

The space
BEFORE BOOKING PLEASE READ THE “OTHER THINGS TO NOTE” SECTION.

Our chic yurts offer everything you need for a comfortable stay. At a combined 1200 square feet, the spaces are well-equipped with four full-size memory foam mattresses, and four individual memory foam foldable floor mattresses (we'll let you draw straws to decide who sleeps where—ha!). Our chic decor was curated to give you the perfect photos for your Instagram.

Is there heat? The yurts will be equipped with two wood burning stoves for keeping you warm on those chilly Arizona nights. But please note that is does get very cold out sometimes. So bring an extra pair of PJs, thermals and long johns for added warmth :) If you can fit them, bring extra blankets and sleeping bags too!

Can I cook? The kitchen spaces each offer a two-burner camping stove, french press coffee maker, mini-refrigerator, pots/pans and basic utensils for prepping a quick meal.

Is there hot water? Absolutely! Right outside the yurts you'll find a small outdoor shower with hot water. But in the winter months we do not offer any running water. No running water any time the temperature is below 40 degrees F. In order to use it, you’ll need to set up the water heater (which is a relatively straightforward process).

Is there a bathroom? We aren't savages! There is a compost toilet and sink for cleaning up in the outdoor bathroom area.

Is there electricity? There are a couple of places for you to plug in your beloved cell phones to get a full charge!

Please note: We do not provide wifi service, as this is intended to stay true to the camping feel :) We don't typically have issues with cell service, so you can always use your phone as a hot spot!

Dogs are allowed during you stay for an additional $25 fee per dog. We ask that dogs do NOT get on the couch or bed to be respectful of other people's allergies.

Guest access
You'll have access to the full grounds.

Other things to note
The yurt is located on 7 acres of land shared with other glamping experiences ranging from tipis to campers. We've done an excellent job spacing the sites apart so as to feel secluded, but please know you may see another guest every so often.

The roads that lead to the yurt are dirt roads and can get muddy. AWD vehicles are recommended, but any truck or SUV should be able to handle it. Cars can maybe handle it, but there’s a chance of getting stuck and tow trucks are expensive. Our on-site host has tow straps in case of emergency, but it’s not guaranteed he’ll always be in town or available.

On occasion, when it gets to freezing temperatures the water tank may freeze. In this instance you would not be able to utilize the showers/sink. This is a rare occurrence, but it does happen. We recommend bringing some bottled water with you.

In order to take hot showers, you’ll need to set-up/tear down the hot water heater every time. It’s a straightforward process, but necessary as keeping it permanently installed damages the piping and has broken our water heater in the past.

It does get very windy on the property. If you're inside the yurt, this may feel alarming. But we assure you that the yurt has been properly secured to the deck and ground. You will not blow away :)

Our yurt is set up to be off-the-grid and runs solely on solar power. On gloomy days, our solar batteries may not be able to charge fully. In these instances, the fridge may be inoperable. We apologize in advance, but know you can still use the fridge as a cooler. We recommend buying foods that don't spoil easily, like eggs and fruit.

There is almost no light pollution around the yurt. It gets very dark on moonless or cloudy nights. We have provided an LED lantern and lights inside the yurt. You may also want to bring a flashlight or use your phone light.

Lastly, it can get very cold in the winter. Like freezing cold. Please pack accordingly. Before you stay, be sure to look up the weather. Please keep in mind our two personal space heaters can only do so much. Please pack extra warm clothing (thermals and long johns) to keep warm. Refunds will NOT be issued because it’s cold out. We have no control over the weather and want to be upfront about this from the beginning.
We've provided several cozy blankets and two propane portable heaters. We've personally stayed in the yurt on a snowy night and did just fine! But if you're really sensitive to the cold weather, this may not be the place for you during the winter.

It's very important for us to be upfront about all of this, as we do not want to be dinged in our reviews for things out of our control. So please be mindful that this is and was always meant to be an outdoor experience.

Location

Williams, Arizona, United States

The property is fairly secluded as the few neighboring homes are spaced far apart. It will be a rare occurrence to see someone drive down the road in front of the yurt. At night there is almost no light at all. Perfect for stargazing!

There are two gas stations and a hotel restaurant/lounge within 10 minutes of the property. Please note that things close early in this town, and we recommend stocking up on snacks/groceries beforehand.

In ideal weather and traffic, you are only 30 minutes from the Grand Canyon!
