Located in the heart of the village of Näsåker, our newly renovated 1920’s house offers 3 bedrooms, 2 modern bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a large living room.

Walking distance to local shops, a communal wood fired sauna and historical rock carvings. Fishing, skiing, trekking and other outdoor activities are easily accessible.

Great for couples, families and groups. Available for a quick stop off on your travels, a relaxing weekend or even a long well earned extended break.

The space
The house was recently renovated to a high standard. It is spacious, clean and tranquil, with everything that you could ever need (apart from a TV!).

The kitchen is stocked with the key essentials - tea, coffee, milk, sugar, etc, and the shower and bathrooms have soap, shampoo, etc too. Towels and bed linen are provided.

A public wood fired sauna is available just down the road from the house, in a beautiful secluded spot down by the river - to swim in the cold water and then run back into the hot sauna is a true Scandinavian tradition that should not be missed! :-) The sauna is free to use.

The village has one local café - a friendly place that offers dishes and sandwiches during the day. There is also a pizzeria that is open late. There are two grocery stores in the village ICA and Coop for your shopping needs. All of these places are within short walking distance of the house.

Guest access
You will be able to enjoy the whole house to yourself during your stay and it will be your own place of comfort.

Other things to note
If you plan to stay for longer than a week with us, we will arrange for cleaning and new linen supply on a fortnightly basis.

The village of Näsåker is known for its ancient rock carvings, engraved in the stones along the river. They can best be seen down by the dam, with a walking path that takes you along the river bank and through the woods. Nämforsens Hällristningsmuseum offers more information on the rock carvings and The Godess museum, Kvinno Minne is also well worth a visit.

There are numerous outdoor sport activities that are easy to access throughout the year with fantastic nature walks, lakes, fishing, skiing, hunting and an abundance of nature on offer in the area.

During the summer the village comes to life with the Urkult world music festival, well renowned throughout Sweden.
