Stayed at Eva's place for 10 nights. She is a lovely lady and is a very active person so you might not always see her as she gets out and about. The room was spacious and has lots of light, which is great for getting ready in the morning. Bathroom is next door however the shower is 2 floors down, but this wasn't a problem for me. There were another 2 people staying at Eva's, and it was still very quiet. I didn't get WiFi for the whole first week as Eva asked me to ask the other airbnb lodger, but he either wasn't in, or didn't know it. I manged to ask the other lodger and finally got WiFi in my second week. This was my only issue really. I didn't really use the kitchen but it is quite compact and could do with de- cluttering as there isn't much space to prepare any food. It has a fridge freezer, hob, and microwave so most things you would need. Her house is in a very pretty area, and it's easy to get around. I walked into kingston everyday and it was only a 15 minute walk, or you can get the number 65 bus. There are a couple coffee shops on the way into Kingston and a sainsburys only 10 mins walk away. The train station in Kingston takes about 25-30 mins to get to Waterloo so is quite good if you don't need to be in central London. It's a very safe area and I would stay again if I needed a night or two in Kingston. Thanks for making me feel welcome in your home Eva.

I had a great stay in Kingston at Eva's house. The main thing was Eva's friendliness and willingness to help when I wasn't sure where to go. The bus system is really to use around Kingston and Richmond and there is a Sainsbury's walking distance away. The room was clean and comfortable, the only problem was the heat. It was extremely hot in London when I went which made the room extremely hot. Eva also took me to Kew Gardens when I had a day off work which was really lovely.

Eva is AMAZING! So inviting and accommodating. I highly recommend her to anyone needing a place to call home while in London. Kingston is an excellent place to get to know. Right on the river Thames and absolutely lovely. For the record it's a bit outside of London so be sure you're ok with that, otherwise, brilliant and easy to get into the heart of the City.

Hello! I moved to England in 1966 although I was originally from Prague where I went to University to study as a teacher. I speak Czech, Russian and am studying French and I also enjoy theatre, classical music, horticulture, history, cross country skiing , swimming, medau and walking in the countryside.
I have done many things in my life including working in several shops, as a secretary, a cycle proficiency instructor, an interpretor, a translator.....I have driven lorries for a company and ambulances for London Ambulance Service and amongst all this, I have brought up 4 children... perhaps the biggest challenge in now I try to relax .... That's when I am not looking after the grandchildren on behalf of my 2 grown up sons. I would like you to feel welcome in my home…and like to have guests who enjoy evenings out but not those who are here for the clubbing scene as it would disturb me. Strictly non smokers either inside or out, thank you very much!
