The space
Please Note:
The road right in front of our place US 31 is being redone spring thru fall of 2026. They are required to leave access to our place open at all times. There will be a detour for all East bound traffic. West bound to be open at all times. What this basicly means is you will have to take a left turn out of our place and will not be able to turn right, just follow the detour signs.
Yes there will be delays
Yes at times will be nouisey
Yes may be agravating!

The things you will LOVE about The Picasso Place
#1 Super Fast Fiber Optic Wifi
#2 You will find reassuring we go to great lengths to make sure the place is cleaned properly and that on very frequent occasions between guests we perform a Ozone treatment on the place for that extra step to be safe and clean. Ozone is amazing, with the SARS virus scientist discovered that Ozone treatments kill 99.8% of the Virus. Also the entrance to the place is from outside, NO inside hallways to walk down.
#3 SELF CHECK IN With private entrance, so you will not have to worry about a certain time or having to have to deal with tracking down keys.
#4 THE DECOR every piece of art work is a Picasso, makes for a very unique environment.
#5 Location, located RIGHT OFF of US 31 easy on and off highway, just 1/2 mile from the traffic light in Interlochen
26 miles to the Sleeping Bears Dunes National Park
1/2 mile to Interlochen Golf course
3 miles to the Blue Bridge Events Center
5 minutes to the World renowned Interlochen Arts Academy
#6 The unit is AIR CONDITIONED for those warm summer days.
#7 Your own private outside deck area.
#8 NO STAIRS ground level, short walk from parking area.
#9 Your own PRIVATE Laundry area for your use.
The things you MAY NOT love about the Picasso Place
#1 This is a Condo, however we own the building and every place is set up for short term travelers with separate outside entrances for each place.
#2 We are located right off US 31, SO YES THERE IS ROAD NOISE however while inside the unit it is negligible,. I have to put this here because so many people who travel to Northern Michigan for some reason think there should be no road noise and well we just cant get away from it. Here is what one guest had to say "Great spot to stay, and very tastefully done! I know Jeff said it's right on the highway, but the condo is pretty well insulated and we didn't notice road noises hardly at all. Adam
Here are 3 THINGS TO CONSIDER before renting.
#1 NO PARTIES are permitted in our place or on our property at any time during your stay.
#2 Our place is nice but its not perfect for all people, even though we have put lots of effort into this place there are always small what seem like trivial issues to most that upset others such as, there is no dishwasher,
located RIGHT OFF of US 31, POTENTIAL for road noise.
#3 We ask all our guests to respect the neighbors and to not be loud or yell or play loud music inside and outside the building at all times during their stay. We expect our
Guests to be quiet after 11:00PM. So if you intend to behave like a party animal, our place is not for you but if you intend to behave like a resident, you should love your stay.

Picasso Place is located in Interlochen right off US 31, the center point of activities in the Traverse region. We can accommodate 4 GUESTS.
We have a kitchen that is fully equipped with all the essentials such as MICROWAVE, POTS & PANS, COFFEE MAKER, TOASTER, BLENDER, SLOW COOKER and your basic kitchen items to cook a nice meal.
This is a 1 BEDROOM unit with a queen size bed & all the linens you will need. The living room has a QUEEN SIZE SLEEPER SOFA for 2 extra people (for a total of 4 guests) 42” HD TV, ULTRA FAST 5G WIFI . The bathroom has a FULL SIZE TUB, HAIR DRYER, IRON & BOARD and WASHER & DRYER so you can take care of your laundry needs. We also has a deck area for your use.
The "Picasso Place"
Because of the close proximity to The Interlochen Center for the Arts and the fact we have many guests with connections to the Arts Academy we have chosen a "Arts Theme" aka "Picasso Place", with this unit. All of the art work in this unit are reprints of Pablo Picasso, and provide a very unique environment for your stay. In the event you are not aware of the Academy we highly recommend you do a search, just maybe you could catch a amazing concert while in our area.
***Attending a special event such as a wedding at the Blue Bridge Event Center and know others who may need accommodations, we have several other units that may be available, please inquire for the other listings***i
