Welcome to the best-located stay in Canoa-steps from the beach & right in the heart of town. This place was designed for both relaxation & productivity. Watch the waves from your balcony, work remotely on either floor with strong Wi-Fi & multiple desk spaces or simply unwind to the sounds of the ocean & nature. Food vendors pass by daily, offering items at unbeatable prices! A few steps away is Hotel Bambu’s restaurant, Canoa’s legendary uncrowded waves, & it's the surfer point for the locals.
The space
Stay in a naturally beautiful bamboo home with all the comforts of a luxury getaway. Enter through a secure gate and follow the stairs to your private balcony entrance. Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with a large dining area or desk space, plus a movable bar—perfect for entertaining or enjoying sunset drinks.
Upstairs, your suite features:
Lots new for 2026- new fridge, stove, microwave, tv, coffee maker, linens, pillows, and more.
You will have a couple of private balconies with hammocks, stools, and panoramic views of the ocean, mountains, and town with steady ocean breezes, plenty of natural light, & some happy plants.
Full bathroom with bathtub and hot water
Quality orthopedic mattress with fresh linens & mosquito net (if needed)
Super-stocked kitchen with beautiful dining area.
The "second bed" is a quality mattress that is available to pull out under the bed.
Guest access
You’ll have your own private balcony entrance. There’s a shared ground-level space for surfboard storage and a hose to rinse off after the beach.
Other things to note
The place is located in the heart of town and is very safe but there are natural noises like dogs and roosters and music coming from the beach on the weekends. If the noise is bothering you, we have disposable earplugs we can give you to make sure you are getting good restful sleep. We have blackout curtains and an orthopedic mattress, various fans, and quality sheets to help too.

Canoa
From the host
Hotel Bambu is across the street and awesome for food and socializing. There are a couple dancing bars close by so hopefully you don't mind some music. Surf Shak, Amalur, and Coco Loco are nice places to stop in for some food and to be social. Yoga classes are offered every week day morning at Amalur and Hotel Bambu. The surfing is great right out front of the house. We love our neighbours and town. Everyone is very friendly. :)

Please come enjoy Canoa, surf and relax. Stay awhile! Canoa offers great surf, a long wide beach, caves, tours, culture, and a friendly atmosphere. There is lots to do and beauty to enjoy. We have a surf school/ juice bar out front. You can find more info on that by searching the Adicto Surf Cafe. Come stay awhile!
