Welcome to Padraig's place! Irish country cottage meets apartment living with idyllic coastal views of the dramatic wild Atlantic way, framed by Clare Island and Inisturk island.

Here at No. 1 Ceol Na d'tonn you will find your very own piece of tranquil West of Ireland beauty.

So if you are a hiker or a surfer or simply looking to get away from it all Padraig's Place is ideal for 1-4 guests from 2 nights.

The space
No. 1 Ceol Na d'tonn is a ground floor flat in a modern apartment block situated next to the popular Ocean Lodge Hotel.
There is a strong Irish feel and the decor is Irish Country cottage meets modern amenities. We want to share out love of Ireland with books and pictures.

The best thing about this place though is its unrivalled sea and mountain views. The location is rural, you will need a car to get around. Being far from the hustle and bustle of town has lots of postivities and there is a 180 degree view from the lounge. This is a quiet and unspoilt part of Ireland and a quick stroll from the apartment will bring you to the pebbly Killladoon beach, a great place to blow out some cobwebs.
The property offers panoramic views over spectacular views over Cross Beach, Clew Bay and Clare Island. You will be in close proximity of many sandy beaches, offering wonderful activities such as surfing, kite surfing, wind surfing, fishing and mountain climbing to name but a few. The Big Style surf school are located in the hotel next door if you would like to try you hand at surfing or SUP.

The property is a short 10 minute drive from Louisburgh town, approximately 8 miles. Louisburgh offers quaint West of Ireland feel. There is a supermarket, butcher, pharmacy and lots of a cafes. pubs and arts shops. We recommend Louisburgh 74 Coffee and McNamaras Bar.

No. 1 Ceol d’Tonn offers a great base for being out and about but is is also a lovely place to get away from it all.

With a private entrance inside the first block of apartments, there are 2 large double bedrooms with ensuite in one. You will have a well appointed kitchen and living room to relax with dining table to enjoy your home cooked food. There are plenty of utensils if you enjoy cooking, why not use one of the Irish cookery books or put some local meat in the slow cooker for when you get home from a day of walking, we love the Butchers in Louisburg.

If you prefer you can grab a delicious meal at the hotel during the summer season and the bar is open from around 9pm most weekends year round.

There is a family bathroom with a bath and shower and the ensuite has shower. The immersion hot water system means that hot water is best in the morning though a boost function means you can add more when you need.

The bedrooms have plenty of storage and comfy beds and bedding.

There is a TV and CD player. There are lots of games and books to relax with.

Driving is a must and you can park right outside the apartment and all parking is free.

For the summer months, there is a a bbq in the communal outdoor space at the back or take the blanket and flask down to the beach on a chillier day.

For children you will find games and books to entertain them. There is a travel cot with sheet but no quilt. There is a highchair and children's plates, bowls and cups.
