Located in the market town of Cockermouth, our charming 1 bedroom cottage has been lovingly restored by ourselves.
Only a few miles from both the Lake District National Park and Solway Coastline, No. 60 is superbly situated for you to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the local area.
With an abundance of cosy character features and modern facilities, our cottage is the perfect base.
Our family own the adjoining property No.62 which can be booked alongside our place to accomodate a larger group.

The space
The property is self contained. A complimentary welcome pack is provided for the arrival of all guests and includes fresh milk, juice and breakfast items. Tea, coffee and sugar are also provided.

A guest parking permit is provided for on street parking outside the property.

The property has a smart TV with free Netflix for you to enjoy during your stay. It also has wifi.

We do allow guests to bring a dog with them but politely request that they are not allowed on the sofas or bedding. Please note the property does not have a garden. There is however a small field with a footpath just at the end of the street that is suitable for dogs.

Guest access
Exclusive use of our 1 bed charactee cottage during your stay. We are dog friendly but this must be discussed prior to your visit. We do not own the outside space to the rear of the property so this cannot be used by our guests, there is however a field/green area with footpath which is ideal for dogs, literally a minutes walk from our property.

Other things to note
We can provide a travel cot and high chair upon request.

If you are visitng for a special occasion such as a birthday/anniversary/wedding and would like some additional arrangements made, i.e. flowers/champagne/chocolates/cupcakes/personalised balloon, please dont hesitate to contact me, I am more than happy to source these extra little touches to make your stay perfect!

Cockermouth, England, United Kingdom

Cockermouth is an attractive market town, not overwhelmed by the tourist atmosphere of nearby towns.

Well known for being the birth place of famous poet William Wordsworth and also home to Jennings Brewery, Cockermouth has lots of history to offer it’s visitors.

There are a large number of small independent shops, such as a butchers and fishmongers as well as supermarkets such as Sainsbury’s and Aldi all in the town.

One of our favourite things about Cockermouth is the huge selection of excellent coffee shops, restaurants and pubs on offer and we are sure you will enjoy making use of them during your stay!

Both raised here in Cockermouth, myself and my husband Daniel love living here. Number 60 was our first home together and we spent almost a year lovingly restoring it, transforming it into the stunning little cottage it is today. We now live just a few minutes away from the property with our two young children aged six and one. We feel very privileged to be able to share this unique little holiday home with our guests and hope you love it as much as we do!
