Light and sunny house which is newly renovated and comfortably furnished. Views from all the rooms and windows catch the sun. Fully equipped kitchen, new appliances. Not a bach, but a solid home which will accommodate the whole family. Wood burning fire place and heaters will keep you warm in winter. Wood and kindling supplied. On quiet street, just a short walk to river and sea. Explore the Coromandel from here. Help yourself to fridge and pantry for continental breakfast.

The space
The house is spacious, open plan living. . Big kitchen, dining area, living room with a home theatre system, sun room, three big bedrooms with quality linen(feather duvets, cotton sheets, wool blankets), bathroom, shower and toilet in three separate rooms to make it work for families or friends. Downstairs there is a big deck which catches sun year round. The bedroom with two single beds is a couple of steps across an outside breeze way from the two queen bedrooms. In the garage there is a double sea kayak plus two life jackets that you can use. The multi-level nature of the houuse possibly not ideal families of very young children.. The house is on a large hillside section which you are welcome to explore. Help yourself to breakfast basics in the fridge and pantry - fruit, cereal, bread for toast, butter and toppings and milk.

Guest access
The entire house will be yours to use exclusively and with complete privacy. In the garage there is a laundry and sea kayak. Parking is off road in the driveway.

Other things to note
The house will be clean and tidy when you arrive. Beds will be freshly made up and towels will be available for your use. When you leave, please leave it in a similar condition. (Leave the sheets on the bed - we will do the laundry)The house is multi level. Please no smoking, and no parties. Pets by arrangement - please get in touch before you book. Also, the bedroom with the single beds in a separate room - connected by a covered breezeway just one step away from the main house.

Te Mata is a quiet beach community. Tapu, a few ks to the south, has a shop, pub, restaurant, takeaways and camping ground. Two fantastic cafes - Koru Cafe and Waiomu Cafe are about 10 minutes away and Thames, a fully serviced town, is 20 minutes to the south. (Stop there on the way up the coast for your supplies!) Te Mata is ideally located to explore all Coromandel has to offer - Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove, Coromandel Town are all about an hours drive or less away. Winter or summer, there is plenty to do on the Coromandel. If you have any specific questions, we will be happy to help you with your planning.

I look after Te Mata View for the owners. I live just down the road and have been in the hospitality business for over 17 years. If you have any questions or concerns, we are here to help, but will give you total privacy during your stay.
