Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Recently renovated cottage sleeping 6-8 in three bedrooms and a comfy snug with sofa bed. A relaxing space to sit and relax, take in the stunning sea views and a great base to explore the beautiful Pembrokeshire National Park & beaches. Based on St Anns Head & a 2 mile drive to the village of Dale you can rest peacefully in the comfy surrounds whatever the weather, log burners are included! If watersports are your thing Dale can provide, together with village amenities and an award winning pub.

The space
Enjoy open plan living on the groundfloor with a fully equipped kitchen, dining space for 8 with sea views and open plan living area with log burner, TV and field views. To the rear of the ground floor is a separate utility area where you can wash your wetsuit, refresh your beach towels in the washing machine or take a refreshing shower in the downstairs shower room. The snug room is equipped with a log burner, TV, comfy sofa which turns into an even comfier sofa bed and is perfect if you need some separate space or want to relax in warmth when the wind is blowing outside. Upstairs you have three bedrooms, a king, double and small twin, together with a separate toilet and bathroom. The outside space is an extensive lawn with small patio area and patio table.

Fancy a walk?? Hop over the wall to join the Pembrokeshire coastal path or follow the instructions to get to the path in a less energetic way! You can walk to Dale along the path (East or West), with Mill Bay, Watwick Bay and Castle beach accessible from the East. Go West and you'll see dramatic cliffs and the islands of Skomer and Skokholm, reach West Dale beach and walk through the green valley passing Dale Castle into the village. Many other beaches are easily accessible a short drive from the cottage, along with other local attractions, nature reserves, islands, sailing, watersports and walking. If you haven't heard of the beaches give them a google or take a look at the photos - Marloes, Musselwick, Watwick Bay, West Dale and Newgale are some of the best.

Dale village is a small village with a shop, cafe, award winning pub - The Griffin Inn, and CoCo's Brasserie restaurant. Seasonal openings can apply so please check with them but if you want to go you need to book, they have excellent reputations for a reason! Marloes village is a short drive (10 minutes) from Dale and also includes a shop, cafe and pubs. For a bigger shop Haverfordwest is the local town a 30 minute drive away.

A stair gate is available for use at the property but is the responsibility of guests to assemble and disassemble on leaving - if there are little legs around it is your responsibility to keep them safe. 1 or 2 dogs are allowed downstairs only, there is a small additional fee for cleaning. Please note dogs are not allowed upstairs or on furniture.

Dale, Wales, United Kingdom

The cottage is based on a headland with a fully working lighthouse and old coastguard buldings! Whilst this is a truly idylic rural setting there are neighbours who we would ask you to respect at all times. Access is via a private road and full details will be made available when your reservation is confirmed.
