This Private Lakefront Cottage is right off Lake Huron and has a beach deck/shed with private access to the beach. Absolutely breathtaking views of Lake Huron Sunsets.

A very natural environment featuring birds, small wildlife, a sandy beach and swimming in the beautiful, clear lake water. Great fishing spots, watersports and golfing in the area. A perfect venue for family and friend reunions.

This property is midway (12km) between the big tourist towns of Grand Bend and Bayfield.

The space
Licenced by the Municipality of Bluewater for Short Term rentals for a Max of 10 people. No additional guests or Pets allowed.

This cottage is fully air-conditioned during the hot summer and heated during the winter.

- Bedroom 1 - Master Bedroom has 2 Queen Beds, Gas Fireplace and a 3-piece Ensuite bathroom (shower, toilet and sink).
- Bedroom 2, 3 and 4 each have Double Beds
- Bathroom 2 is a 4-piece full bathroom (shower/bathtub, toilet and sink)
- Bathroom 3 is a 3-piece bathroom (shower, toilet and sink)

A separate laundry room with a standard size washer and dryer.

Our kitchen is fully loaded with all appliances and service for 10. The dining area is surrounded by a superb view of Lake Huron. This is the perfect spot to entertain. Enjoy the beauty of this magnificent part of the world, while having a meal.

Our family/living room is a basement walk out, with a beautiful view Lake Huron. There is a large TV, WI-FI, a small library and also a few board games.

Enjoy the kind of magnificent space and layout that makes for a fabulous vacation that offers privacy to each person or family. The bedrooms have been comfortably designed to be away from the main activity areas. The property is large enough that it is easy for anyone in the group to get away to relax, read, turn in before the rest of the group, or sleep late in the morning.

The "front" of the property/roadside is enclosed by a treed hedge which offers protection for 5-6 vehicles parked on the one lane driveway. There is a large secure playing area, great for those who love soccer, badminton and volleyball. There is also a small, cemented patio with a basketball net and access to the converted garage/games room, and access to the Lakefront lawn area.

The Lakefront is at the "back" of the property and directly off the Lake Huron beach. Sun worshipper or shade lover, you will find them here. Enjoy family and friend's company or dance, drink and sing around the firepit. Relax with the BBQ on the outdoor deck, patios and 2 balconies (off the dining area and master bedroom) while watching the sun set over the lake.

The beach is accessible via approx 60 private railed step and a small beach shed/deck on the lakefront side of the property. The beach can also be accessed via the private lane resident open field adjacent to our property that gently slopes down to only 30 wooden/railed steps.

Each day, wake up to a different amazing view as you witness the power of Lake Huron. This is the 2nd largest freshwater lake in Canada. Daily fluctuations to the lake water levels, waves and sandy beach area are fully dependent on weather patterns.

Great swimming, watersports, fishing areas and nearby golfing available at the White Squirrel Golf Club. Bring or rent your own water toys. Beach shoes recommended.

Note:

Our main renter must be 30 plus in age and responsible for the whole group. This is a pet free rental.

Generally full week bookings starting Monday during the summer. Weekend/short stay bookings are available during the rest of the year.
Check in after 5 pm. Check out before 11:00 am.

Flexible bookings can be arranged subject to availability so please contact us.

Guest access
Our renters have access to the whole cottage or home.

Storage in the Basement and roadside work shed are not accessible.

Other things to note
Please note that we do not rent out our property to host parties or any events involving outside guests.
