A unique detached riverside cottage near Salisbury and Stonehenge. Completely private with two double bedrooms and open plan living area downstairs. Surrounded by generous child and pet safe gardens. Stunning walks from the door, with local pub and cafe/shop easily accessible. This is my home where I live for some of the year.
The space

The space
This romantic house, which is also my home, has two sets of french doors; one leads to a riverside verandah, the other to a lovely country garden. This is a wildlife haven and a truly tranquil spot to enjoy alfresco dining. Inside the open plan kitchen dining/ sitting room is furnished with antiques and is light and cosy. The farmhouse kitchen is equipped with a Rayburn cooker and all the mod cons. Spacious downstairs bathroom with hand-held shower and large bath. Plenty of hanging space for clothes. Up the spiral staircase, are two light, double eaves bedrooms with beautiful views over the river and countryside.

Guest access
Guests will have full access to the whole house and to the gardens. However it is also my home and so some personal items are around. It has a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of space for guests to make it their home whilst here. Pets are welcome and there is a small additional fee of £10 per dog per stay.

Other things to note
Please note that parking is in a small lay-by in front of the house. There is space for 2 cars.

Located in the Chalke Valley, which is famous for its walks and cycling routes, it is an area of outstanding natural beauty. There are stunning walks from the door. The local neighborhood is a quintessential Wiltshire village which has a country pub, shop and cafe all within walking distance.

Hi I have lived in both city and country. This is my home now and it is a perfect hideaway but not isolated. That is what I wanted. I'm an animal lover ex actress ex lawyer and traveller. My aim is to create somewhere beautiful for people to enjoy. I bring warmth and fun with me. I'm a big fan of this undiscovered county and friendly village
