FUN in winter wonderland! Relax in a toasty yurt with a wood burning stove, plus wifi, cable tv, and modern amenities, nestled in the woods and 27 acres of water frontage on Powder Mill Pond and the Contoocook River in Southern New Hampshire. Tucked in a private wooded setting on a deck that overlooks a small waterfall in nature's oasis, just 1.5 hours from Boston and 2.25 hrs. from Hartford. Snuggle in the hot tub around a campfire. Downhill and Xcountry Ski, Snowshoe, Hike, Dine, Shop, etc.

The space
Be it winter fun like skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and ice skating, or spectacular fall foliage, bird watching and biking or summertime fun like swimming, fishing, boating, just simply sunning or year round hiking, ...our cozy yurt experience lets you take time out to enjoy what nature has to offer to the fullest, right here in your new 27 acre backyard. Year round you can enjoy soaking in the hot tub under the stars. A winter wonderland awaits you. Cross country ski or snowshoe right from your doorstep and at any of the nearby trails and facilities. Downhill ski and board at Crotched Mountain Resort, only 5 minutes away and open until 1 am or at Sunapee, or Pat's Peak, just 25 minutes away, where you can also go Snow Tubing until 10 pm! Snowmobile to the yurt, or along the trail which you can ride for miles, or to the nearby infamous Alberto's Restaurant. Spring through fall you will find complimentary bicycles and kayaks, canoes, paddle boats, and a bicycle boat available for a small rental fee so guests can explore the lake and the river without ever leaving the property. Paddle to the island for a picnic lunch, jump off the railroad bridge with the locals, cool off on the 30 ft. lily pad, share stories, roast dogs and s’mores at the firepit, have cocktails by sunset in the gazebo. Our getaway is one of 10 unique accommodations that are located by the water or tucked in the woods in an area that also offers the legendary Mount Monadnock, a rich arts and antiques community, golfing, and a mecca of restaurants offering farm to table dining experiences, as well as live music, theater, local craftspeople, and year round special events. Have fun, be active, relax or just be free...enjoy the simpler life, serenity and privacy, a romantic respite, an off the grid experience, a taste of "glamping" or just hassle-free vacationing!

Other things to note
Reserve the Yurt NOW and throughout the year! And if you are traveling with another couple, you may also want to book the fully equipped Tiny House, tucked into the woods around the corner. For larger groups, looking for a truly unique experience in the heart of nature's wonderland, there are a number of special accommodations for you and your guests throughout our 27 acres of wooded and waterfront beauty. (Some exclusively during the warmer months)
Consider the Teeny Tiny House with your own private dock or reserve one of our 3 classic vintage campers, our boathouse and guest house suite set right on the pond with a private diving board and slide, a private safari tent with a wood burning stove set on the river, and/or coming soon, a "beached" refurbished 4 bunk 1940's boat with a large deck overlooking the sunsets. A few additional glamping and private tent sites on the river may also be available. For more information, please email us.
