My family and I stayed with Adam for an extended period while we were in transition from one home to our new home. Before our arrival, Adam was very responsive to questions and checked in with us to confirm our plans. He was very flexible and accommodating throughout our stay to our changing plans, as our closing date took some time to iron out. We were able to come and go freely and the house provided privacy in the bedroom locations, as well as use of common space in the kitchen and TV room. The house itself is located in a very peaceful, quiet neighborhood, surrounded by woods and nature. My daughter enjoyed watching the birds at the feeders and taking walks around the area. Our first experience with Airbnb was a positive one, and I would recommend this listing to a friend.

Adam's listing is as described: a gracious and obviously well-loved family home in a peaceful and leafy small community near Boston. He only accepts guests if his grown daughters are not visiting and there is no separate area dedicated to rental use, so it probably would not be suitable for long stays. We were there two nights and everything was just fine. It's a very safe and quiet area. There are walking trails immediately accessible and a Whole Foods and other shopping is within walking distance, but having a car is best given that most of these semi-rural roads do not have sidewalks. We slept soundly in the comfortable bed with the windows open for plenty of fresh air and woke to the gentle chirping of birds. Note that the bed is short for someone over six feet, though it wasn't a problem because there is no footboard constraining movement and it was plenty wide. Another minor drawback is that the bath for your private use is on the other side of the kitchen, but Adam was discreet about withdrawing to his wing and giving us use of that entire area at night. In general he was very respectful of our privacy but also welcoming and helpful, offering fresh-brewed morning coffee and some evening beers after we'd come in from a long day hiking by Walden Pond. We would definitely return if we were in the area again.

Excellent accommodations. Adam is a gracious and accommodating host, perhaps more than any other I've encountered in years of travel. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very clean, stocked and tidy. Adam allows use of common spaces including the kitchen, although my own schedule has been too busy for taking much advantage of common spaces besides prepping a quick meal. Actually, that's not entirely true -- I've relaxed several times at the large, shaded table on the front patio overlooking the beautiful front yard in the quiet residential neighborhood. That's a real plus for me since I love the outdoors. I was able to bring my dog with me for the stay and the fenced-in back yard was perfect for her (it's a small fence and she's not a jumper). Truly, Adam couldn't be a better host. His house location is, for me, ideal, because it abuts conservation land and local trails for hiking (my main leisure activity) and is very close to Walden Pond (which unfortunately does not allow dogs but is a great place to walk and ponder).
