Where you’ll be

Asolo, Veneto, Italy

The apartment is located in the historic center, in one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Tourist attraction center, rich in history; from Catherine Cornaro queen of Cyprus to Eleonora Duse great actress of the early 1900s, from Pietro Bembo to Robert Browning, Freya Stark and the composer Malipiero. All great people who have stayed in this small ancient village. To make it unique there are several small glimpses, in fact it was named by the poet Carducci "The city from a hundred horizons". Hiking and mountain biking trails crown this jewel, located and surrounded by hills in an atmosphere and stunning views. To see: - the castle of Queen Cornaro that houses the Duse Theatre, - Duse House and tomb of the actress located at the nearby cemetery of St. Anna, - Villa Freya with its botanical garden (visit by reservation) with ancient remains of a Roman theatre, - Zen Fountain and Major Fountain, - Lombard House, - Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, - Civic Museum and for hiking lovers the majestic Rock overlooking the village from the top of its hill.
Around the village, in the immediate vicinity you can find typical "hostelries" where you can enjoy pleasant dishes, a pizzeria, a sandwich bar and bars everywhere.
