Built in the 1850’s this historical home once belonged to William Fessenden and his family, who farmed the property. Though, slightly mondernized, you are sure to notice the original doors, fireplace and hardware. Located within a short walking distance to Sandwich’s Village and the 17th Century Hoxie House museum this home is the perfect choice for anyone looking to immerse themselves into the history of Cape Cod’s oldest town. The home is a two family setup with the host living on site.

The space
The space includes two bedrooms on the second floor; one king, one queen and one full bathroom (shower only). The first floor has living room accommodations, t.v and internet. There is a dining area as well as a minimalistic kitchen, THERE IS NO OVEN. The kitchen space does include full size refrigerator, sink, coffee maker, microwave and extra large toaster oven, slow cooker and hot plate.

Where you’ll be

Sandwich, Massachusetts, United States

The Historical Village in the Town Of Sandwich has been wonderfully preserved and is a beautiful place to visit. Being a Native Cape Codder and finding myself immersed in the founding families homeland has been a special experience and I’d love to share the location with others. We are located within walking distance to some of the town’s best restaurants including Daniel Webster’s Restaurant, Brown Jug, Beth’s Bakery and several others. There is plenty of shopping, museums, gardens and site seeing in the immediate area. The Sandwich Marina is approximately 1.5 miles away.

Born and raised; dating back to the founding fathers of Cape Cod. True to my roots, establishing a small business while focusing on motherhood. Creating special memories with comfort and style for my guests. Enjoy!

During your stay

I am always available by phone and live in the front half of the home. Being a 17th generation Cape Codder I have vast knowledge of the area and things to do so feel free to ask! My family requests that our space remain off limits as well as our detached barn. Thank you!
