The Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario is pleased to offer the rare opportunity for guests to sleep in a caboose for an authentic railroader experience.

Curl up in our comfortable pull-down beds with fresh linens and relax in the quiet glow of the lantern. This is a 1967 CN Steel caboose.

*Please note this is not a hotel but a unique glamping experience.*

The space
The inside of the Caboose is fit with electricity, yet still has the original setup. This includes three foldout benches that become beds, a raised area known as a "Cupola", a writing desk, a stove and a sink. Please note that the stove and sink are no longer functional, but there are electrical outlets provided. A small kitchenette (fridge, sink, microwave), showers and washrooms are available inside the museum station. Please note that the cabooses are not air conditioned, however a fan is provided for you during the warm months, dress accordingly. By staying in our cabooses you will get the authentic feel of what it was like to live on the railway.
