Welcome to your own private oasis in the Southlands/Kerrisdale area of Vancouver. This stunning contemporary home, designed by architect Leland Dadson, is surrounded by lush, landscaped grounds with an outdoor pool, two BBQs, and hot tub. Enjoy a wide open main floor plan with original art, a baby grand piano, and floor to ceiling windows that retract to allow true indoor/outdoor living. Welcome to your dream home away from home!

The space
There are heated concrete floors throughout the house and three indoor gas fireplaces, as well as two outdoor BBQs - one just off the kitchen and another on the pool deck. The gourmet kitchen has double islands and Wolf and Sub Zero appliances. Musicians will enjoy the baby grand piano.

The back yard offers complete privacy with lush landscaping. The swimming pool is large, deep, and heated to a heavenly 88F all summer (June-September). It has an integrated hot tub (separate from the hot tub off of the master bedroom). The cedar deck surrounding the pool was built in 2021. There is a lounge set with outdoor fireplace on the pool deck, along with two outdoor dining areas.

The master bedroom is on the main level with a sumptuous ensuite with a private patio and 8-person hot tub overlooking the gardens. Also on the main floor is the office, which includes a custom wood desk, office chair, and laster printer. This room doubles as a guest bedroom with a comfortable memory foam queen sofabed.

The light-filled loft over the living room is open to the area below. This space is wonderful for watching TV as a group, reading, or playing games. There is a desk and office chair in the loft, which offers a second formal work space.

The lower level has three bedrooms, one with a private ensuite bathroom, TV, and patio area. Each room includes a queen bed and small desk. The lower level also contains a media room, which includes a massage chair, pinball machine, TV, and double sofabed.

We fell in love with this property the moment we set foot in it. We love the light, the mixture of concrete, wood and metal, the privacy, and, of course, the fabulous private backyard with a swimming pool and hot tub. We feel confident that you will love it, too.

Guest access
You'll have exclusive access to the entire house and back yard. The back yard is extremely private with cedar hedges and wonderful trees and plantings.

You can stroll to Southlands Farm to visit the horses or shop at the weekend market, walk along the Fraser River and watch tug boats and and flocks of birds, golf at one of the neighbouring golf courses, or drive/walk/bus into nearby Kerrisdale or Dunbar neighbourhoods for all of your shopping needs.
