This home is located 30 KM away from International Airport of Nepal and it takes one and half hour to reach if you use a local bus available from the Airport. The easiest way is to take a taxi from the Airport to Koteswor ($5) which is only 10 minutes and catch a bus to go to Banepa. You will notice a bus which comes every five minutes. They charge 50 cent USD to arrive in Banepa.
From Banepa bus station either you will be walking 15 minutes upwards the hill or take rikshaw ($2.5).

How is Home

This home belongs to a typical Nepalese family where six persons live altogether. There are old parents, young educated couples and 11 & 6 years kids. There are 10 rooms in the house. Ground floor is not furnished yet, in first floor there are four rooms, you will be offered one out of it. Kitchen is located on the top floor. The restroom is on the ground floor but well furnished.

The home doesn't have a high standard facility. This is not a luxurious home.

** Hiking with children ( if you love to). They can take you to the famous temple, village or city center

You also can hire Bicycle from the city center $10-15 per day. This is another great way to explore the places around the valley. All the above mentioned places (1 day tour) can be reached by bicycle.
