The space
Back Harbour abounds in its own attractions such as the ever busy fishing stage where you can see the action of the daily catch; the beach around the harbour provides its own adventures; if you see the Gannets diving and dancing you know the Cod are coming in. You can walk out your door to explore the numerous hiking trails in the neighbourhood.

Selkies cottage is close to many local sites and attractions. Go whale watching if the season is right or enjoy a boat cruise from any of the local charters. You are 4.5 kms from the quaint fishing village of Crow Head where the view is stupendous and the coffee at the local café is delicious. While there, travel up to Long Point Light House which is historically interesting. From Back Harbour it is a short walk to town centre where you can easily access restaurants, pubs, the boat museum, shops and much more. The local folks are friendly and engaging, quick to share a tale or give directions. Finish your day by enjoying the always spectacular sunset by the firepit.
