Breaghwy Hill lodge is located in North Sligo on the Wild Atlantic Way, perfect for exploring the history and culture of the beautiful Northwest including Mayo, Donegal, Leitrim & Roscommon.

The local village, Grange, is 5 km drive with pubs, restaurant, supermarket, post office, indoor play centre, playground and garage. Village pubs have a courtesy car service. A short 4km away from Lissadell House & Beach.

The space
Ideal for family or a group, this bungalow is cosy with its own gated entrance and garden with playing area and patio to the back for privacy.

Be assured our house is cleaned/sanitised to the highest standard.

Fully equipped with central heating, stove fire, smart TV, electric cooker, electric shower, washing machine, dishwasher, dishware, pots, pans, cooking utensils, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron, and WIFI to keep you connected (this can be disconnected if you prefer a tech-detox!).

So much to do, too much to list. Local activities include local walks, horse riding, surfing, kayaking, hill walking, charter fishing, all available locally.

Visit our local Wild Atlantic Alpaca Farm, offering private walks by appointment only.

One man and his Dog, Atlantic Sheepdogs demonstrations just down the road Monday-Saturday.

Majestic Benbulben and beautiful views of Inishmurray Island in the heart of Yeats Country with the sandy beaches of Streedagh and Lissadel House only a 5-minute drive away. Famous surfer beaches are Mullaghmore Beach (16 km), Rossespoint Beach (18 km), Strandhill Beach (24km), Bundoran Beach (24 km) and Rossnowlagh Beach (41km).

Historic Lissadell House is short 4km away.
Rosses Point & Bundoran links course for the Golfers.

Local markets include Rathcormac Food & Craft (Saturday’s 10am-3pm), Cliffoney Country Market (alternative Sunday 11am-1pm), Strandhill Peoples market (Sunday’s 11am-4pm) & Sligo Farmers Market (9am-1pm).

The Benbulben forest walk is a loop running for around 5.5km at the base of the iconic mountain, with access just off the main N15 national route between Sligo and Donegal, only 4 km away.

Beautiful Glencar waterfall, which featured in the poetry of W.B. Yeats, and lies on the other side of the county border in Leitrim. The Devil’s Chimney walk is reached first, it gets its name from the famous waterfall which gushes upwards following rainfall and when the wind blows from the south.

Visit the highest and finest marine cliffs in Europe, County Donegal’s Sliabh Liag and so much more.
