Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
The Salt Water Villa is an oceanfront property nestled amongst beautiful granite rocks right on the Atlantic Ocean over looking Puffin Island lighthouse. This cottage is my home away from home. It has been decorated to replicate a typical outport home of the 50’s 60’s and70’s. A living museum. Beautiful, peaceful, off the beaten path and steps away from the beautiful walking trail.

The space
This cottage brings me so much happiness and joy and I want to share . M y own private seclusion with a million dollar view from the living room and Master bedroom windows. the master bedroom is an open loft which is ideal for a couple. There is a double room and a single room if you are not wanting total privacy. Watch Icebergs, Gannets and whale right from your own private deck......in season. Watch the moon rise over the ocean. Hear the roar ofthe ocean as you breathe The Saltwater air. Steps away from the beautiful Greenspond walking trail and a shortdrive to beautiful Lumsden Beach and the Barbour premises.

Where you’ll be

Greenspond, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada

Greenspond Is situated on the north east coast. A true authentic outport Newfoundland experience. Enjoy the relaxing and inspiring atmosphere and history. Greenspond one of Newfoundland’s oldest inhabited fishing villages. Bath in local traditions, on the wharf watch the local fishermen coming in with their catch, book a walking tour or boat tour or just
get to know the locals or simply relax. Either way......time well spent. We hope you will be the next to enjoy this gem.

I am a local girl fun loving generous and kind and have family ties to Greenspond. This year will be my first time being an Airbnb host so Being retired I have time to spare and want to share my Little piece of paradise with people looking for a unique cultural experience. My cottage I would describe as a living Museum.
