A unique 350 year old Beachfront Barn overlooking Sully Island, which was once frequented by local pirates, with sailing ships anchoring offshore, on the far side of the island at low tide there are visible dinosaur footprints. The Island can be accessed via a causeway during low tide (Please take note of the access hours before walking over).
There are three lovely seafront bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk (Captains Wife, On The Rocks and Seashore Grill) all highly recommended ! If you enjoy walking you will find Cosmeston Lakes and Medieval Village close by or the Coastal path, leading to Penarth and on to Cardiff Bay and Sports Village.
For the cyclists you may want to head for the Taff Trail that will take you past some beautiful scenery all the way up to the Brecon Beacons.,
