The building itself is over hundred years old and a Grade II listed building. This is an authentic Glasgow Tenement style building in a convenient and great part of the city.

A traditional tenemant flat with southfacing living room with dining area overlooking private communal gardens. Kitchen comprises of all amenties which guests are free to use including washing machine and drying pulley. The property has been lovingly developed in both its design and function. We also have travel cot plus blankies and selection of toys (if required) . There is also a selection of Journals and books on the arts, design and culture. We will provide fresh towels and bed linen and dressing gowns.

Guests have full access to the entire flat that includes recently renovated kitchen and bathroom facilities. You are also welcome to help yourself to oils, condiments, herbs and spices. There are a selection of teas and 'real' coffee. You can even arrange to have fresh bake treats delivered on a Sat or Sunday by our local artisan bakers.

I will meet and greet guests on arrival and will be available via mobile and email for any queries during their stay.

Shawlands is a fantastic part of the City, whilst also offering great transport links to other parts of Glasgow. There is a farmers market every second saturday, great delis cafes and restaurants offering a brilliant mix of traditional and eclectic foods to suit all manner of tastebuds. (being a bit of a foodie I relish this aspect of the neighbourhood). The beautiful queenspark is literally a two minute walk whereby you can find yourself strolling by the duck pond, taking in the panoramic views of the city at the flagpoint or attending an impromptu avant garde gig at the newly renovated bandstand. 10 mins on a bus ride and you can head further south to the splendid Pollock country park which is home to the internationally acclaimed Burrell Collection and Pollock House, Woodland walks and walled gardens, horse riding, mountain bike tracks and many more fantastic experiences to be had and regular events and of course not forgetting the friendly highland cows. Also close by the southside is home to the Tramway - a fantastic international visual art venue that hosts an exciting programme of contemporary exhibitions, theatre productions and performance events. An old tram station that is also home to Royal Scottish Ballet and the lovely hidden Gardens. I could go on about the many wonderful international and grass roots activities and events that are in and around this area of Glasgow, therefore some information will be provided which will hopefully encourage you to explore what is at hand. And not forgetting that Hampden Staduim is also a short (walking) journey away, the O2 Venue only a short direct bus ride and the new Scottish Hydro is a short car journey over the motorway which conveiniantly enables a journay from south to west of the city in less than 15 mins(URL HIDDEN)
You are a two min walk from a fantastic bus route that takes you into the west, central and east areas of the city in no time. There are also 3 train stations (5-7mins) close by too.

There is free parking available in the sqaure gardens for the residents, this is on a first come first serve basis. There is also free parking around the area too.
Glasgow Airport is a 15 - 20 min taxi/car journey to the flat.

My wife and I had a great stay in Sacha's flat. We received a warm welcome from Sacha when we arrived and she had milk and some bread and fruit on our arrival. Sacha gave us a tour of the flat and how things work as well as some useful info of the area. The flat is in a great locale with the park right across the street as well as several bus routes within walking distance. I'd return to Sacha's flat without hesitation if I am in Glasgow again.

The place is absolutely LOVELY! The bed is cozy and you have everything you need in this little flat. Location is amazing; right next to queens park and just a few minutes' walk to great pubs and cafes. We loved relaxing and having breakfast in the gorgeous sunny sitting room. Sacha is so sweet and helpful. She made sure we had everything we needed even though our taxi brought us late to the flat! If you get the chance to stay in this little gem, DO. We miss our mornings in Sacha's adorable place!

I absolutely loved Sacha's flat, it was a great introduction to Glasgow. My partner and I can't wait to come back! Sacha welcomed us to the flat herself and had left lots of good local recommendations. Everything was very clean, the kitchen was well-equipped for us to cook for ourselves, and despite the snow when we arrived, the flat was toasty and warm. A real gem in an architecturally interesting tenement square. It was absolutely a home away from home. Thank you Sacha!

Very friendly host. Flat is in a good location with everything you need for a short break. NB There is parking outside but get there early as it was full up when we returned in the evening.

The flat was perfect for our short stay whilst we were flat-hunting in the area and Sacha made us feel so welcome, giving us great ideas of places to eat and drink. The flat is in such a great location but is still really quiet and has the most comfortable bed EVER! Kitchen is equipped with everything you could need. Thanks Sacha for a great stay , hopefully be seeing you soon!

We had a great break at Sacha,so. Location perfect for shops, restaurants and pubs plus only 15 mins into city centre by bus. Sacha is a lovely caring hostess I love the fact that the kitchen had lots of extra touches curry Bible great cook book which I cooked from, used some of the spices and left some extra bits myself for next guests. Flat lovely and clean, warm and Internet great. The art was to our taste too. AND Sacha was flexible about entry and leaving. We will be back for sure ::)
