Located 3 short blocks from the Elora Mill this charming studio apartment is located in the heart of Elora, across from Bissell Park.
The Studio Apartment is in a separate, private building at the back of the property which has a private entrance, private front deck and private garden area along with a parking spot for one vehicle.
The wifi has recently been upgraded to the EERO mesh system to help connect you to work and leisure activities.

The space
The Studio Apartment is a working photography studio that easily converts
into a spacious living environment with the help of a comfortable queen size bed. There is also a 5" foam single mattress that makes a cozy bed for a child or shorter adult. (71" in length) The barrel vaulted ceilings are 16 feet high and provide an airy feel inside 550 sq ft of well designed living/working space.

You will be a walk away from everything in downtown Elora……The Elora Mill, Pubs, Restaurants, Elora Centre for the Arts, Bissell Park, Walking Trails and some Elora Festival Venues. So if you like to be in the hub of things, this is your spot to visit.

Please note that some guests have visited with their pets (both dogs and cats) and although the Studio is spotless, it is impossible to completely remove the dander that triggers allergic reactions.

Guest access
Guests use the private entrance on porch closest to the driveway. There is either a key box that I will provide the code for or I will leave the door open with a key on the counter.

Check in time is anytime after 3pm. Please let me know when you will be arriving and I will leave the porch light on if it is after dark.

Check out time is 11am. I'm open to this fluctuating to a later time as long as I don't have another guest arriving on the same day or have a photo shoot booked.....just text me and ask.

Other things to note
IF VISITING WITH PETS, PLEASE INCLUDE THEM AS A 3RD PERSON WHEN BOOKING.
Pets are an additional $20 per day.
I'm open to small dogs (under 30lbs) visiting but they have to be on a flea prevention program during Spring to Fall and be comfortable being in a crate if you go out. No "on furniture" behaviour. Must pick up after your animal.
Be realistic, if your dog is a door/floor scratcher or a habitual barker, please have him kennelled at a nearby business. See below.

My work: Photographer
I've been living in Elora for 25 years now. I ventured this way from Toronto on a road trip with a friend and bought an old schoolhouse a week later. As a mother and photographer, this amazing little creative village fostered a unique climate to be creative and enjoy life. Years ago I bought an old Victorian house in the centre of town across from the Bissell Park and The Elora Centre for the Arts. I've spent the last decade renovating and landscaping as a form of active meditation. I'm passionate about visual storytelling through photography, raising the best kid and loving my circle of friends and family. Elora has wonderful trails through the Grand River conservation area, The Elora Festival in July, Studio tours in the Fall, Sensational Elora and many more celebrations. The small collection of stores and pubs are quaint and friendly and my favourite Cinema is a 4 minute walk from door to door. Park your car and walk during your visit to the centre of my incredible little village. xo Sophie
