Old villa - nothing fancy here - but with a lush garden, unique atmosphere and charm - and great location just opposite Risskov forest, only 10 minutes walk to the seaside, the University as well as the hip and lovely Trøjborg neighborhood.

The space

Old house with large and lush garden. The place is worn and totally outdated - nothing fancy here - but with a unique atmosphere, charm and excellent location just opposite Risskov forest, near the sea, near the University and the beautiful Trøjborg neighborhood with cool shops, cafes etc.

The house has 2 guest rooms: Both perfect for one guest - but extra bed/matress can be provided.

Guest access

Access to kitchen and garden.

Interaction with guests

I'm an artist and work mostly at home in my atelier. So usually very easy to get in contact with. I like to communicate and drink a cup of tea with my guests - if they like. But I also expect - and respect - privacy and individual space.

Other things to note

The house is at a road; traffic noise may occur - especially during the rush hour.

First the good: - Charming old house. - Lovely garden. - Clean bathroom. - The heating in the room worked well. - Spacious bedroom. The not so good: - The room was facing the main road, which had quite a lot of traffic. Perhaps it would be a good idea to get a more sound-insulated window. - It was an old house, and the room had some need of renovation. I read in the "house intro/rules papers" that she was in the process of renovating (the house in general at least) however. - The bed was pretty squeaky. But it didn't matter so much.

Hanne's home is beautiful! It is just next to a bus stop but also a lovely walk to the city center. There's also a large, beautiful park just across the street with access to the beach. Hanne was clear and helpful in our communications and welcoming upon arrival. She also allowed me to store my bags after I checked out so that I could continue exploring the city before I left. I recommend staying in her lovely room!
