Main street also one block away with many great restaurants, and our best local coffee shop (Klekolo) just doors away from your apartment. The House is across from the public library. Stone patio in a lovely fenced in rear yard.

The space
This private second floor apartment is an addition located on the rear of our Historic Greek Revival Italianate House. The apartment is filled with lots of light. It is a 1 bedroom studio apartment with a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a tub/shower as well as a washer/dryer unit for your convenience. The apartment has a tv, wireless internet. The bedroom and living room areas have ceiling fans as well as a window unit AC during the warmer months. There is a supplemental gas wall hung heater in the bedroom for added comfort when needed. The rear yard is fenced in and a great place to relax when the weather is nice. The best part of this house is that we have an extraordinary rear year that offers something more like a retreat in the middle of the city. The whole experience of this apartment is quiet, peaceful and extremely convenient to Wesleyan and other Middletown area activities.

I am married to my sweetheart and although we enjoy our own individual lives, we especially love doing life and being together more than most anything else. I'm also a dad of 6 and "grampy" to 14. Oh Yeah! I am a Veitnam Era Army Veteran, an avid gardener and maple syrup collector and transformer, music lover, guitarist and singer with one group album in my credits. I had been building and remodeling homes since 1980 and I am now semi retired from building/remodeling. I share these talents and gifts by volunteering throughout the country particularly in disaster areas as needed. My wife, Megan and I have been working together in the building business since 2000. We went Raw, as in food, in 2009 and we wrote a book together on the Raw Smoothie subject and self published it in 2010 and we are delighted that it has been amazingly successful selling throughout the world and is now ready for the 5th edition printing. As a result of that book and wanting to share what we found out about the benefits of eating Raw we also started and have been running a "Raw Organic Fruit and Green Smoothie" business called "Raw You-niverse" in 2011. This has been so much fun and crazy successful as well. We are mostly vegetarian and still focus on eating raw but not 100% anymore. We practice and have the consensus of having fun and finding magic in our lives everyday. Sometimes we have to remind ourselves to do that. We love to travel and explore the world, a lot. Fran, (mom of Billl) has lived with us since his dad passed in 16'. We are her care givers and we travel back and forth to her place, through the winter, near the shore, in southern NC (and Airbnb it during the spring, summer and, fall). We are New York and New Englanders mostly by breeding and time spent and choose to remain here because we have all of our kids and grandkids still in CT and we just love it here. We spend a good deal of time in CT during the week, VT and Maine on long weekends between snows, and traveling in our motorhome in the warmer climates during the winters in the US. We have a zest for living and love meeting new folks and sharing stories and learning about life success and joy where ever we go. We really, really enjoy and cultivate being friends with people all over the planet.
