We welcome guests to our unique timber framed property with a history covering many centuries and several uses. Previously used as a shop, it is now a comfortable and warm home to the two of us and our cat "Twiggy"
Guest accommodation is in a large, quiet cosy room at the back of the house - your private shower room is just a step across the hall. Freshly ironed cotton sheets, big pillows and a snuggly duvet await.
We offer a continental breakfast to all guests with other options as required.

The space
Our home is located right in the centre of this lovely village, a short walk from the pubs and Village Shop. As we are located in the heart of the village we are only able to offer on street parking available directly outside the property but we do have a workshop in which bicycles can be securely stored.
Old, ancient and thatched houses abound in this part of the village and our home is packed with history.
The building was a shop for well over 100 years and we have been able to turn it into a very comfortable home by our own hands and a lot of hard labour.
We now want to share our home with others who wish to explore this part of the world. We have put together a guide book of local places to eat and visit - if you want any advice on these aspects prior to your visit just send a message and we will happily advise you.
in addition to a complimentary drinks tray in your room with a selection of Tea, 'proper coffee' and fresh milk, we also include a continental breakfast within the room rate.
We are also very happy to invite you to share a two course , home-cooked, vegetarian meal with us (made with fresh produce from our allotment ) for an additional £10 per head including a glass of wine or beer.
If you would like to eat with us please just let me know in advance and we will arrange payment when you get here.
Also, if you have any special dietary requirements as regards breakfast etc do let us know in advance - just so that we can make sure we have everything available for you to relax and enjoy your stay.

We grow our own veg on our allotment and Chris loves to turn wood and metal in his workshop if you have such interests we are happy to share - or keep quiet!
