Hey! Nice that you have stumbled across my listing! I offer here a chic old apartment with two guest rooms in the Leipzig Südvorstadt. The first room is about 14 square meters large has a bunk bed for 2 persons - small but cozy. The second guest room is more spacious: It is about 20 square meters, has a large double bed and a sofa bed, each for 2 people. Both rooms have a TV with a free ★Netflix★ account.

The space
The apartment is located in the popular Südvorstadt - right next to the lively Karli (Karl-Liebknecht-Straße). Supermarket, bakery, Späti and other shops are within walking distance. From here you can walk on the Karli to the center or the trendy district Connewitz.
The apartment is very suitable for two couples - even couples with children - since everyone has their own room. Also for groups up to 6 people is enough space. Great noise is not expected, except maybe a few children playing or birds twittering.

For all guests there is a welcome bottle of water - if someone wants a cold beer, this can also be organized.

Guest access
You have access to balcony, kitchen, bathroom and hallway. Everything can be used in the kitchen, unless explicitly stated.
In the apartment is also my office, which is used by me and my coworker during the day (9 - 17 o'clock). There is no public. There is also no office noise, we only work on the laptop, on the phone and sometimes we print something. In the evening and on the weekend we don't work, so the apartment is then completely yours.

Other things to note
I rent bikes for 8 € per day. The bikes are very modern, have a 7-speed gear and two locks. Just let me know and I will provide the bikes.

Please note: From 01.01.2019 the city of Leipzig will levy a guest tax. Whether for business or pleasure, everyone has to pay. As the overnight price is usually under 30 €, the tax per guest per night is 1 €. For higher room rates (book fair, WGT) the tax is 3 € per person per night. The tax is to be paid in cash on the day of arrival. You also have to fill in a form which I provide.

Restaurants, pubs and bars are within easy reach. For the late hour shopping there is also a late night shop around the corner. If you want to cook yourself, in a 5 minute walk you'll find a large supermarket.

In the colder months, I always recommend the Beyerhaus for the early evening. Here you can enjoy a beer or two in a relaxed atmosphere 🍺. You can eat here too. For a more extended dinner 🍳 I recommend the Café Maître with its exquisite French cuisine or the Fela, which is just around the corner. In summer, all bars and restaurants invite to the outdoor seating until at least midnight. A secret tip is the beer garden at Bayerischer Bahnhof or who would rather stay on the Karli, goes to the Hafenbar 🍻

For some years you can also enjoy Bundesliga football ⚽ in Leipzig. Even Champions League this season. Tickets are rare, but it is not impossible to get them. A little tip: Just ask me if I'm there at the next game - because if not, my season ticket may be available. The stadium is easily accessible by train or bicycle. Or you take a long walk (about 45 minutes). In the stadium there is not only football, but also great concerts 🎶

Leipzig is known for its many parks and the resulting high quality of life 🌲 🌳 In addition to the Clara-Zetkin-Park, I also like to recommend the Palmengarten or the central Johanna-Park, which connects directly to the Clara-Zetkin-Park. Here it's wonderful to relax and in summer you can just lie down on the lawn, read a book or have a barbecue with friends and family.

In addition to the central attractions such as the marketplace, the old town hall, the stock exchange and the MDR Tower, you will find the famous Battle Monument (Völkerschlachtdenkmal) in the south and in the center-northwest next to the beautiful Zoo the Waldstraßenviertel, one of the largest preserved Gründerzeit-district in Europe.

Do you need more tips for sights, food, drink or other, I can help you.
