Breakfast
This is one of a few places in the area that has this feature.

The Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario is pleased to offer the rare opportunity for guests to sleep in a caboose for an authentic railroader experience.

Curl up in our comfortable pull-down beds with fresh linens and relax in the quiet glow of the lantern. In the morning, enjoy a fresh breakfast of typically fruit, pastries, juice and coffee or tea which is served on site. This is a 1947 CN wooden caboose. Please note this is not a hotel but a unique glamping experience.

This is a unique and really fun place to stay. And, a tour of the museum and the yard is included. I'd go back in a ❤️ beat so I think that says it all. Thanks to Leisa and her team, and John, and Tony. I'm sure they will all make your stay as special as they made mine.

What you expect: experiencing what it would have been like to work on a train with the overnight stay! Amazingly unique and the museum itself is a treasure trove of history.

Give it a try. It is a very different overnight experience. Not exactly rustic, but it makes you work a bit to get the best out of it.
