Very clean, quiet and affordable place for a short stay. The room is very tiny so it might not be ideal for taller people. Also it is a bit hard to say that it's a room, as there is no ceiling. The staffs were very helpful and there's always snacks at the kitchen for grabs. There…

Both Alex and Zina were so accommodating. They were fine with keeping my luggage stored after I checked out so that I could explore the city and not have to drag around my luggage. The rooms were small but cozy, and the common area was really nicely decorated and had a homey -fee…

If you are looking for affordable, simple accommodations while you visit Manhattan, this is the place for you. Rooms are very small, with a lattice roof so you can hear everything. That being said, these hosts and their staff worked hard to ensure the space remained peaceful …

You get what you pay for here. Despite the place being clean and breakfast being adequate. I felt the place was inadequate for anyone to sleep comfortably. The room is tiny, 4x6 feet. Anyone over 6 feet will hit the walls when sleeping. The rooms are designed for the maximum amou…

Response from Alex And Zeena:
Thanks Husain! I am sorry that I did not get to meet you. You arrived well after 10pm - and my shift was already over. I should have waited and greeted you personally. I wish you staid with us for more than just one night. I hope you can forgive me. We are sorry that unlike our other guests you had an impression that our place was 'inadequate for anyone to sleep comfortably'. But we still feel happy that we have hosted you. In New York City, there are some expensive places, then, when you start to find some places that have reasonable prices, you find places that are dirty, creepy or even dangerous. With the crew on-site 24/7 on every floor our place is safe. Although small in size the private dorm rooms here are clean and perhaps as quiet as a dorm room can possibly be. On a side note. This is not a business. As you may know, we use the profits from the guest rooms here to provide hot meals for homeless people on the streets of New York City. Since the money you paid to us for your room is financing the meal distribution program, just by staying here, you've helped us to support this program. I'm sure this will come back to you in a wonderful way (beyond your dreams). You're gonna get a lot more than what you 'paid for'. Thanks again for taking time to write your review. We hope we can help you when you plan your next trip to New York City.

The beds are very tiny and very uncomfortable. I got a very restless sleep and was extremely tired when I had to wake up. They built a bunch of tiny rooms like cubicles with open ceiling you here all the noise even though every one was trying there best to be quite. Very similar …

Worth the price- nice and quiet, decently located, great communication from hosts, and plenty of bananas ;) Would stay there again.
