Welcome to my cozy and tidy apartment in Sasazuka (Near Shimokitazawa/Shinjuku) with lots of plants. This spot is not only 1 stop away from Shinjuku on Keio line, but also 5 min bike ride to Shimokita (little Brooklyn of Tokyo). The room comes with comfy bed (200 X 120cm), useful desk, clean kitchen, free WiFi, bath room and 2 bikes so that you can explore Tokyo more freely and deeply. Highly recommended for active couple who love to cycle and seek local experiences :)

This is a very charming, clean, quiet apartment, and So is a responsive host! It is a few subway lines removed from central areas, which is good and bad—welcome quiet, far from popular destinations. I really enjoyed exploring Sasazuka, however—good restaurants, coffee, and beer! The apartment was also larger than I expected with a good size kitchen to cook in and a large closet, a nice surprise compared to other studios I stayed at in Japan. Thanks So!

Enjoyed our stay at So's place - he's a very helpful and accommodating host. The spot is a compact apartment that's nice for two people, and well curated with style. We liked the neighborhood vibe and how residential/quiet it was, but the walk to Shimokita was much farther than expected.

My stay has been simply lovely. So's home is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated, and So was a very friendly and communicative host. I'm so glad I got to spend a month in Sasazuka - an intimately sized, spirited, and lively residential neighborhood. Life is incredibly convenient with grocery stores and food shops right inside the station, and stepping out on the way home you have No. 10 Shopping Street, a long, winding stretch of produce shops, pharmacies, bakeries, and restaurants and bars. I will miss this place a lot. Highly recommended for people who wanna spend more time exploring Tokyo by living it a little bit. Thanks, So, for sharing your home and helping me create such a memorable experience.

This was the second time we had stayed at so's sasazuka apartment. Close to public transport, clean, and very quiet. Would recommend to anyone visiting Tokyo.

I stayed for 5night at So's place. Everything is look exactly same and well decorated. This place was pretty big compare to other studios in Tokyo. It was enough size for 2 people! When we first checked in, the bedding was kinda smelly but after I contacted to So, he brought us new sheets of blanket and pillow covers.

Originally from the west Tokyo, Tokyo-based freelance editor for prints and website. I'm in my early 30s. I was born and raised in the far east, but I relocate myself to California for eating decent burrito. I am not an arty dude, but I really appreciate good design especially minimalistic Japanese/simple Scandinavian style (shout out to my girlfriend, Tiia). I love meeting my guests and will always be ready to have brewsky with them :)

My 5 things I can't live without would be......
Macbook, music, travel, bicycle and good beers.
