We are located 3 minutes from the village of Compton and 12 minutes' drive from Foresta Lumina and Coaticook’s Parc de la Gorge.
The space
Coeur des Jardins offers comfort, calm and proximity to nature. Enjoy the vastness of our Louisiana-style property. It is located on top of a hill, which allows you to enjoy the majestic scenery.
The Family Suite is located on the second floor. It has two comfortable Queen beds in separate rooms and one shared bathroom with a luxurious clawfoot tub. It has a private entrance with an electronic lock on the exterior balcony, as well as a door leading to the common areas. The view is both East and South with large windows.
If your party need additional places for kids, we rent up to 2 airbeds; just book for more than 4 people! For example, if you indicate 5 people, we will understand that there is a child and we will provide 1 inflatable bed for a small fee. Please note that these mattresses are not recommended for adults.
Entry to the rooms is autonomous, by code using our electronic locks. Our large common room is perfect for meetings or to enjoy the view of the gardens. Amateur and professional musicians will enjoy our grand piano.
The house has an all-around railing on each floor. You may relax and savor the view while enjoying your morning coffee. Should you wish it, you won’t be missing any news or data with our sturdy Wi-Fi. Please note that there are no TV screens on-site.
The night sky here is wondrous… It’s great for stargazing. Bring your binoculars or telescope if you have one, you will not regret it! Also on-site, we offer an activity called Contemplative Archery. It is a completely safe and rewarding exploration of inner and outer equilibrium. It is inspired both by Kyudo and by the spirit of the Benedictine monks. We have integrated just the right setup for practice within our orchard. A qualified master archer conducts the activity. Some fees may apply. More details upon request or after your booking is complete.
Environment preservation and care are important to us; please note that all of our soaps and detergents are environmentally friendly.
We do not serve meals, but we supply the following: utensils, dishes, coffee machine (coffee included), boiling pot, microwave oven, convection mini-oven, and refrigerator. Dishes at your disposal; we just ask that you wash the dishes you use.
Do not hesitate to ask your hosts Michel and Caroline about the latest news. They will gladly advise you about the many good restaurants you may find in the nearby village of Compton. They are either around the house or available on the phone.
Central air conditioning is activated during hot periods, so a good night’s sleep is assured.
Please note that there are two outside areas where guests may smoke: one on the ground level next to the ramp located in front of the building and one on the large upper sundeck. Those are the only areas where smoking is permitted.
There is ample parking space on the property.

Guest access
In addition to their room, guests have access to both levels of all-round railings, to the common room, to the coffee area, and to an extra washroom on the ground floor. The property has 10 acres of orchards and fields with walking trails. Your host, Yves, lives on the premises and will be usually present to answer your questions or to advise about the local attractions.

Other things to note
The room doors are locked and unlocked by code, so you will be able to enter at your leisure without need for coordination. Three days before your arrival, Airbnb will grant you access to arrival instructions and the required code.
If you are staying at our place because of the Foresta Lumina show or other late event, we strongly advise to check in BEFORE the show. Not only may you have a hard time to locate the property and enter the code in the dark, but our phones may be turned off for the night and we may not be able to help you.
