Welcome to our self contained south facing light and airy studio loft apartment. Situated at the bottom of the high street it is just a few yards from the river Asker & Bridport town centre's pubs, restaurants, shops & street market.
Parking is very close in East Street car park, £2.80 for 24 hrs. Free roadside parking is available about 5 mins walk.
Coffee/tea/bread/milk is provided for the first morning.
As well as a double bed the two futons in the living area convert into double beds.

The space
The studio faces south, so is light and sunny. It has a double bed and two double futons, suitable for children or younger adults. Apologies but we do not accept bookings for groups of four adults. There is a TV and sitting area with kitchenette and small table.
There is a separate shower room.
Double bed linen and towels are provided.
Single sleeping bags and cotton liners are provided for guests who wish to sleep on the futons.
We also have a travel cot you may use.
There is wifi but no land line.
Important to know: There is reduced head height in some areas & you will need to climb two sets of stairs to get to the studio, the second is quite steep.

Guest access
You will have a key to the front door and studio apartment which accommodates the whole of the 2nd floor.

Other things to note
As this is a loft apartment there is reduced head height in some areas. The second flight of stairs is steeper than average.
There is a very small kitchenette with cooler, kettle, toaster & microwave with enough cutlery & crockery for four.
As we are out of the house much of the time could you please let me know, by the day, what time you plan to arrive so that one of us can be here to hand you the keys. Thank you.

Bridport is a lively & successful market town with plenty to see. An interesting town with many independent shops, large artisan / antique area, three theatres and a street market on Wednesday & Saturday . Bridport has many good cafes, restaurants and pubs and is close to countryside and coast. We are a 35 minute comfortable walk to West Bay harbour and beach. West Dorset has a world famous beautiful coastline with great beaches and cliffs. There are many beautiful walks from the house.

During your stay
We live on site and are around most of the time. We are happy to chat and help with anything. We have a good knowledge of the area so can suggest pubs, eating and walks. We have a collie/cocker dog, who thinks everyone comes to see him. He is very friendly and loves to greet everyone. He however has never had access to any of the upstairs and stays on the ground floor.
